Amazing team! Great service! They also take care of me when I come. Really good number of different and unique sushi rolls. Very nice and warm ambiance. This is my favorite sushi restaurant in this area. Great 5 stars.

I recently went back to Rainbow King just a few days after my initial visit to check out their lunch specials. The sushi deal is quite affordable at $9.95 for 2 rolls or $12.95 for 3 rolls with a side of soup or salad. While the selection was limited, I opted for the miso soup and decided to try the panda roll, california roll, and spicy tuna roll. We also got the shrimp tempura roll and spicy crab roll. The miso soup lacked the savory, umami with a hint of saltiness taste that you'd expect, so I didn't finish it. The sushi was decent for the price, but nothing extraordinary. The panda roll was interesting, however, I've noticed that this spot goes heavy on the cream cheese because that's mainly all I can taste in the rolls with cream cheese inside. The california and spicy tuna roll were both standard. The shrimp tempura roll was crispy and the lettuce inside was an interesting choice but refreshing addition. The spicy crab roll was flavorful, but overall, the experience was just average.Rainbow King is still an okay spot in my book, earning a solid 3.5/5. The lunch special is a good value, but the overall quality and selection leave a bit to be desired. It's a decent place if you're looking for an affordable sushi lunch, but don't expect anything too remarkable.

Every time we come here (mostly on weekends) it's never packed and I can't understand why! This place is really good probably the best sushi in this area. We always get the edamame, shrimp tempura roll, double spicy roll and rainbow king dragon roll and everything is always so fresh. Underrated!

I think this is the best sushi spot in Bel Air 2024, now that I have gone to all of them. FOOD In appetizers, I tried the takoyaki, edamame, karaage, and ground chicken lettuce wrap things. They were all decent but nothing stood out nearly as well as the dinosaur eggs (which are not eggs, but a sushi thing), and so I strongly recommend those.Nice to see something unique and tasty! In terms of the other food, my friend gets various rolls and everything I have tried has been tasty. But I'm a big sashimi fan, especially as I can tell the quality of the fish after I've had it. And this is pretty good quality! That quality is a part of what sets this place apart from the other sushi spots in Bel Aid. SERVICE I've had the same woman serve us every time I went by coincidence, but she's always been very polite and well attentive without being pushy. Really liked her.AMBIANCEIt's a casual and family friendly spot but also good for dates. There are booths that are decently well separated from other people so you do feel like you can get some hint of privacy here. Lighting and music were pleasant.

Finally ate in the restaurant and tried more entrees. The kids thought the circular high booth was a very cool table to sit at. I couldn't agree more. The waitress was attentive and did a nice job serving our group of 6. The steak terryaki wasn't nearly as good as at Bamboo Garden. The sauce was very sweet and sticky. It does not come out sizzling which was also a disappointment for the kids. My mother ordered a beef dish that was supposed to have asparagus. There wasn't any asparagus and her beef was very fatty. That being said, our staples were still excellent. The sushi, curry chicken, shumai, egg rolls, and soup were great as usual.

Why did I stop ordering delivery from places like Rainbow King? First, it wasn't because the food was bad. It was not. I enjoyed it a great deal. However, I felt like they took advantage of people who want delivery, and I'll tell you exactly how.1. Higher prices on the delivery menu than for the what is on the in-house menu.2. Delivery fee of $4.99.3. Service fee that is a percentage of your orders total. For example: An order costing $52.50 has a service fee of $7.88.4. Then of course you should tip your driver as well.

The service here was quick and easy. They make the food in efficient timing. The inside of this place is really nice. I had ordered a California roll and a Dragon roll. I was not super crazy about what I ordered, maybe it was not what I was expecting. It tasted good it just wasn't my favorite. Next time I will have to order other things because their menu does look really good and I have only heard good things from here so far. Also ordering on the website, yelp and over the phone all have different pricing. So I was a little confused.
