Quickway Japanese Hibachi

Really great, quick hibachi-like food. Taste delicious and fresh, especially with a side of their yummy sauce. Perfect spot of an easy dinner!

For fast hibachi, this place is so good! Dont get me wrong, the quality clearly isn't as good as if you were to go to a sit down restaurant, but for what it is, it's so good.This is probably the smallest quickway I've been inside, but it's more of a to-go place anyway!What we ordered:- chicken with double rice, no veggies- a side of noodles- double shrimp Highly recommend the double rice (or noodles) and no veggies. The side of vegetables is really just soggy lettuce.The workers were nice, not much to say considering they just take your order at a window!

The food is good. Quick and efficient service. Ambiance was solid. When I would order for delivery, they don't holdback in stuffing the container as they do in-person, which was great since that's a problem I've had in other places.

This was my second time patronizing this establishment. Each experience was the EXACT same. The service was fast, and with a smile. The staff were all working and keeping things moving. I placed my order, the food was being cooked and my order was ready. I was in and out in under 5min. There were places to eat and eat, but I opted not too. Each booth, however, appeared to be clean. My to go platter was stuffed with hot fresh food. I will return. I ordered chicken and shrimp with noodles. There was enough for me to eat twice.

The name Quickway really fits this Hibachi spot. The food comes out quick, not leaving you waiting. Hibachi is a favorite of mine so when I saw this Hibachi spit opening near my place of work, I was excited. This is a casual quick food stop. ORDER:* Shrimp Hibachi with Fried Rice *The shrimp was grilled and cooked Hibachi style, served with rice (choice of steamed white rice or fried rice). You have an option of yum yum sauce which is an extra charge. * Tempura Shrimp * This is a side dish however I order this as a meal and ordered a side of steamed rice. I was hoping there was a meal option for Shrimp Tempura given it's typically an option at Hibachi / Japanese restaurants. I was able to improvise. Tempura batter makes you full quickly so Tempe side portion of 3 pieces was enough to fill me up. SERVICE:The service was good. They have bento boxes so we got curious. The serving is right for the price but was expecting more as to flavors. We like sushi but I think for a fast Japanese food, it's expected to not get the best quality rice. Didn't finish the spring rolls but my kids liked the chicken dumplings. They forgot one of the dumplings in the bento so we had to ask for it. Overall, it was a filling lunch and I think kids would like them too, especially the chicken.

Looking for teriyaki or sushi, the food here works. The Bento box lunch was a good deal and I like the variety of foods in the box. The restaurant seats have no padding and get uncomfortable quickly. And make sure you get extra yummy sauce. Egg rolls were small, and do good dipped in sauce. No wasabi with the sushi. Service was fast. Will give them some time as they just opened, and I expect them to get better quickly.

I haven't been to a Quickway where I'm not satisfied. This Quickway is in the new Owings mills location which is only 5 min from me. I hope I don't get in too much trouble coming here a lot. Lol. It's grouped with other establishments so there is a big parking lot and a nice eatery outside right in front of QW in case you want to enjoy your meal outside. I got one of my go to meals, chicken hibachi with fried rice and veggies. They are still following COVID protocols. Must have on a mask when you enter and they have every other table unavailable to use to keep a distance between customers. Service again is fast and efficient with a great taste.

So glad there's a quickway near me! This location is brand new and is located in the metro centre shopping center. Parking is available although it's a bit tight in the roundabout area where it's located by there's plenty of parking across the way by the Lowe's. Safety guidelines are being followed with masks required and social distancing encouraged. Service was good and efficient and as always the food was delicious. My usual go to is the chicken (or chicken and shrimp if I'm feeling jazzy) hibachi with noodles and veggies with the o so delicious chicken dumplings. The interior is nice and neat (which for brand new is to be expected). They are allowing indoor dining but do have certain tables marked as closed to help with social distancing. Can't wait until they have online ordering up and running!
