Quality Seafood

This local crab house has been in business for over 25 years! I've been driving past it and decided to stop in and check out the crabs and menu items. They have fresh fish, crab legs, shrimp scallops, and a of the seafood meals in between. I also learned today that they have a breakfast menu that I'm going to have to come back and try. The owner came from the back to show us crab sizes and the cashier was friendly and quick. She multitasked phone orders and the walk ins without being rude to either. It's quiet and tucked away and small inside but it's a seafood spot where you order and go so...

Make no mistake about it....The reviews are fact! This place has some of the best seafood takeout & Maryland Blue Crabs around!!Great place to get seafood and surprisingly, even breakfast! From the minute I walked through the door to leaving, the customer service was top tier and everyone was very friendly. The owner, Tran, was the best and very helpful as well. Quality Seafood definitely left an impression on me, as a first timer. I came here during the Memorial Day weekend, looking for steamed Maryland Crabs and this place did not disappoint....both on the prices and quality! I called around to several locations around the DMV and as you can guess for a holiday weekend......the prices were all over the place. Some businesses were the worst in customer service or even answering my phone calls for simple questions regarding prices or availability, because no one wants to drive for miles to only get to a place and nothing is available. Not the case here at Quality Seafood. Tran and his staff were prompt and answered all of my questions when I called. Upon arriving, the owner presented the crabs available, and I must admit that they were great in size and quality..... all live and kicking!! The prices were incredible too. At that point, we worked out a deal and I ordered the crabs. They were cooked perfect and well seasoned. Everyone in my household and at our BBQ really enjoyed them. While waiting for my order, I had a chance to inspect the place and glance around since this was my first time here. The vibe is chill, mostly takeout with a small eating space. The storefront and inside is very clean..... with no weird smells. The seafood in the display case was very fresh as well, including the fish for sale. One stand out while waiting, was their offering for breakfast. The breakfast menu look really good. Judging off all of the traffic they were getting.... Lots of folks were ordering breakfast.... and get this out of all places....A Seafood joint!?? Who knew!? Not to mention, the lady next to me devouring her breakfast sandwich vouched that it was 'hellacious!!' lolI will definitely be back and Quality Seafood has definitely earned a new customer! The owner and staff were top notch. I was even given garlic butter and a paper roll to cover tables for free! You will never get this at most craft spots around DMV for free or as a service. I must admit, sometimes when you run into a a great spot with bomb food....you almost don't want to share the news being afraid it will all go downhill from there, but this place deserves it. Between the selection, great seafood takeout menu, and prices....I highly recommend!!

Finally a place in my neighborhood that I can get breakfast. The food was very good and I definitely will return. They did a nice job remodeling the business. Apparently it's under new ownership and I believe it's black owned. The restaurant was clean and modern and the staff was very friendly.

This place is under new management! We had two fried red snappers - freshly caught from NC. A dozen of clams. A couple of crab legs. Two crab cakes. Steamed shrimps. French fries and sweet potato fries. What a good deal for a family of 6 meals. Highly suggest giving this place a try.

I was on this side of town due to a weekend conference, so decided to stop in for a late lunch after. Sign on the outside says that this place is under new management. Decor inside is fresh and clean, like it just had a makeover. What they're serving up is in the name...fresh, quality seafood at reasonable prices. If you order cooked seafood, it is made fresh to order and is delicious! Service is great! They are accommodating and friendly to boot! Check them out, you won't be disappointed! I'll be back with my family soon enough for the fresh crawfish and other goodies!

I visited this area and wanted to try a local fresh seafood spot. I was recommended this place by some family members and from what I understand this place is under new ownership. The owners are super sweet and helpful and the seafood is really fresh! I would recommend this place to anyone in the local area wanting fresh seafood

Their fish/seafood is very good,you cant sleep on their fried rice and chicken wings either...str8 fire!!

If there was a zero star . . Worst place ever . The owner is a con artist and a scam . The food is terrible . Go to yummy seafood 2 lights down . Their food is always fresh n not frozen like quality . Enjoy .

The catfish was NOT real catfish. Or at least did not taste like catfish. I called ahead but only half the order was ready and the other half was forgotten about so I had to wait and they weren't even busy. The guy at the counter was very nice and friendly. The soft shell crab sandwich and the fried oyster were the items forgotten so may have been rushed. They were salty and not crispy in the outside. So dissatisfied especially since I used to go there years ago and it was great.
