If you're thinking stuffed potatoes are passé, this place will change your mind. The spuds are big, plump, and fluffy, with crispy skin. There are lots of toppings to choose from and my fave is the (magical) artichoke mix. Shoutout to the friendliest host in town. Always a pleasure to stop in. Bonus is the scenic location just across from the State House.

If I could eat french fries every day and not get fat and not have high cholesterol, I would. Lol. As an adult I try to make healthier choices, so a delicious baked potato is a great substitute and it satisfies my french fry craving. This is such a quaint little place in downtown Annapolis. It was easy to find and luckily I was able to find street parking nearby. Not sure what I would've done if it was a busier time of day. Also, the staff was really friendly. I was a first timer and they were really patient as I asked questions about the different offerings they had.At any rate I tried the vegetarian combo and there was all kinds of yummy goodness in my potato. There was black beans, corn, lime, mango, peppers, garlic butter, roasted onions, artichokes, and there was even a salad on the side but on top of the potato if that makes sense. The dish was so colorful and there was all types of textures and flavors going on. It was savory, with a touch of sweet, crunchy, soft, warm, with a little cool from the salad. I absolutely love the idea of a baked potato bar, which essentially is what this restaurant is. I can't wait to come back and try some of the options.I only have one complaint. The bottom of the potato wasn't as soft as I would've liked so I didn't eat the skin. Typically I like to eat the whole entire baked potato because they say there's nutrients and stuff in the skin.On a completely unrelated note, they also sell slices of Dangerously Delicious Pies. They just had one flavor in store that day. I didn't realize there was a Dangerously Delicious Pies in Annapolis. That's news to me. Glad I know.

I didn't catch any names here of the owners. But I did want to say Thank You! Thank for for the delicious sweet potato cake and the loaded baked potato. Both were amazing. However, I am most thankful for the hospitality/the service. Thank you for being so genuinely welcoming and accepting. After we were turned away from Harry Browne's because there was only one waitress and she couldn't handle additional guests, we saw this place and were delighted by the woman at the counter who was so warm and friendly and a pure delight. The food was delicious and came out FAST! We were surprised at how quickly 5 orders (sandwiches, salad, and loaded potatoes) all came out boom boom boom .... but the woman at the counter said it best, "we've been doing this for 28 years, we have it down." I loved seeing her chit chat with customers and making them each feel welcomed. Definitely loved the service and the food and wouldn't have even thought to try it until we stopped in front of the cafe wondering where to go eat at 2pm on President's Day. Definitely recommend!

This is thus far one of the BEST spuds place I've ever had!!! Barbara the owner can be somewhat testy (along with the young guy that works there). However the food makes up for the nice/nasty personality! The potatoes are FANTASTIC and that's putting it mildly! This was my once a week go to spot when I worked in the area! Try it out... I promise you, you will not be disappointed! 10/10!!!!

My favorite lunch spot in downtown Annapolis! Food is always very fresh, delicious, potatoes are the best you'll get. Also the sandwiches and salads are very fresh. Best sub roll I ever had anywhere. Nice choice of sandwiches. Affordable daily lunch spot downtown. Plus owners are on site and take a lot of pride in getting your order out quickly and correctly. Plus the cafe is very clean with lovely tables and chairs to make a nice atmosphere. It's my go-to for downtown lunches.

The food is pretty good, but expensive for what it is. It's usually busy, as it's one of the cheaper (but not cheap) places to eat by Main Street and the State House. The customer service is...not great. Usually, the staff is abrasive and seems to be annoyed that you're even there. If you can get past that and they give you a hard time when you ask for something to be removed from your potato, it's a decent eat.

Excellent every time. Everything is fresh full of flavor and the portions are more than generous.

kinda not happy. been going to this place, now and then, for years. i could deal with the grumpy owner but the Caribbean potato changed and just not the same. will take into consideration
