I can't believe I drove by Ponchos Tacos so many times without stopping in--I'm kicking myself for not coming sooner! I've been to tons of spots in the area, but none have delivered on flavor and variety like this place. I don't eat beef, so I usually have to skip birria, but Ponchos Tacos offers chicken birria tacos, which was such a fantastic surprise. The tacos were packed with flavor, tender chicken, and the dipping broth was rich and delicious.My friend ordered the birria pizza, which is something you don't see every day, and they absolutely loved it. The pizza was loaded with savory toppings and had that authentic birria flavor. The vibe inside is cozy and welcoming, and the service was quick and friendly. I'm definitely making Ponchos Tacos a regular stop from now on--don't miss out on this awesome spot right on the corner!

Food: Generous portions, very reasonably priced. Tried 3 tacos - chorizo, carnitas, birria, all delicious. Chicken burrito was least exciting. 3 house sauce options - wish there were a spicier option. Service: A bit of a wait but everything came out fresh so totally worth it. Ambiance: Bumping music, it was a vibe.

Was introduced to this spot by a friend. He loves coming here for tacos. This is a cute family spot and great for groups. Service is quick and the food is flavorful. I was able to try a new dish with a side of old familiar items. The Pupusa y queso was delicious. You have to eat it quick because once the cheese gets cold it looses all pizzazz. But luckily I had some pillowy soft rice and sweet plantains to add to the mix. Portions were perfect. Would definitely return but I do need a vegan option on the tacos.

Tacos are good but has now become overpriced. $5 a taco?! That's outrageous. Also what used to be the price for a large drink is now the price of the medium. Prices have gone up way too much all in one year. Used to be affordable, but no longer.

This place has great tacos. Since traveling to Texas three times last year my standards for good tacos has significantly increased but Ponchos taco let me satiated. The staff were polite and helpful. There are a few small tables to dine in which I opted for. I tried three tacos (beef birria, steak, and carnitas) and chips and guac. My favorite by far was the birria followed by the carnitas. The house made sauces paired wonderfully with the chips and tacos. This is my new go to place for tacos.

Food is actually decent even though you wait almost a hour for just 3 tacos and where the cashier doesnt offer silverware or any sauces to put on the tacos. Not even sour cream!!!It's also freezing inside and for some reason they allow so many teenagers in that literally paying patrons have to stand. What makes it even sadder is the fact that the establishment does nothing to make the paying customer feel welcome. I watched a group of male teenagers between 14-17 yrs of age come in while a paying patron was sitting and eating. The teenagers literally sat down at the man's table cursing and just being disrespectful and again establishment did nada. Final straw was watching a blunt of weed bein rolled in the table and again the establishment did NADA. Couldn't refer anyone here because the customers suffer while teenagers take over.

Fresh and delicious. Yes, if you walk in and order it will take a few minutes to get your food, not because it's slow, but because they literally cook it fresh. I had the steak tacos and it's so full of meaty goodness i got so full, but I had to eat my warm tortilla chips and guacamole! Some good food if I do say so myself

Amazing tacos, every single thing we tried was solid. The standout was the tinga but also props to them for doing both chicken and beef birria. The res, pollo, lengua, and tripa were all also well seasoned and cooked. They give you a salsa rojo, salsa verde, and a pico de gallo style salsa and everything works well with the tacos. Our bill was $40 with tip and we got 6 tacos and a large horchata.
