Been going for years. Food has always been good. Today is the last time I'll be going here.Service was very slow. Only people in the restaurant. Not the waitress's fault.Did not realize they added 15% gratuity for a party of 3 that were the only people in the house.So I tipped 20%, and the waitress asked it I could give it in cash! I'll never go back.

We give 5STARS!! It's our 2nd time dropping in and lunch was SUPERB!! BIG CLAPS FOR THE CHEF! la comida era deliciosa!!!! We ordered the bean and cheese Papusa, Chicken taco and Carne asada tacos. The presentation of the dish was soo lovely and clearly prepared with care. Our host was pleasant and made sure everything was correct after a little mix up. Nonetheless, we were full and satisfied. It was a quiet day with just one family there at the time and our enjoyment of watching the Olympics and small chat was great. They d9 have Taco Tuesday specials but we miss it due to the window of time. Check them out if you are in the area and love authentic cuisine!

Pollo Feliz is an authentic, no frills, Mexican bar located next to the Latin Market off Route 40 in Ellicott City. This restaurant serves bottles of Mexican Coke, bottles of water and beer on tap. The atmosphere feels like stepping into any local bar in Mexico with loud mariachi and rancho music, Mexican flags and limited English spoken. The food appeared to me to be cooked with authentic recipes and in some cases serving cuts that most Americans are not used to. This is not an American-Mex restaurant. The Guacamole was freshly made and tasty, the beans were a little runny. The fajitas were well marinated and tasted good too. The white rice was spiced and had good flavor. If you are looking for authentic Mexico this is a great little window to the South located in Ellicott City Md.

I was randomly running errands and got hungry so I figured I stop in, It was about two people working there but my server had my drinks strong and the food coming! Beautiful soul too, she was sweet to everybody. On to the food, So delicious! Oddly filling. I got the Lengua tacos, chicken tacos, and chorizo tacos, as well as stuffed Jalapeños which were surprisingly delicious they were spicy, and bigger than I expected them to be I could only eat about one! Loved my meal.

We stopped here because of all the positive reviews-- especially for the tacos. And sadly these were the worst tacos we've had in the area. Across all the different tacos we bought, the meat was bland and tough.The driving point for this place was all the reviews about authentic street tacos. They definitely have the size of street tacos but not the taste AT ALL. It just seemed like the meat was cooked fast and with little seasoning and preparation.If you want good tacos, I would just go to Taqueria Los Primos which is nearby!

I LOVE IT!!!!! It's exactly what I was craving... authentic tacos that taste as good as a taco truck. Monday and Tuesday's are 2$/taco. Yesterday I ordered three and then decided to order 7 more bc those three were so good. My favorite two are the Al pastor (the sauce is so good) and carne Asada. I had the chicken which I thought was bland as one reviewer commented but that's not a big deal bc they made these tacos authentically. I will definitely be a regular.

If i could give 0 stars i would. The chicken smelled weird and looked black from the inside like if they had just boiled an old chicken. I didn't eat the chicken i had a bite and it gave me a stomach issue. It really was a sad chicken and the bartender was drinking on the job as well. The ambiance was also not the best and was empty the whole time we were here. I do not recommend this place at all for anyone unless you're only coming for drinks

Service really sucks here. During my visit, i was ignored when entering. I had to wait 10-15 minutes before receiving a menu, while the server stapled papers together. Even though the restaurant was empty. She NEVER checked on me. Not even ONCE. I had to flag her down for everything. Including water. I would seriously check out the thousands of other restaurants in the area, before going to this one. Pollo- DO BETTER!
