Plaza Mexico

Was here Saturday. Weather was nice, so a friend of mine invited me to go Chesapeake Beach. We were referred to Plaza Mexico for their margaritas. I ordered the Mezcal Margarita. It had a very distinct rim. It added to the e smoky flavor. Was very good. The service was excellent. The staff was very attentive. I am not a fan of Mexican food like that, but their guacamole was superb. Very spicy just the way I like it. It is a family restaurant with a bar. Perfect for watching a game or just having a family night: it's a good date spot also. I will definitely be back.

I really loved eating here for the last 2 years since I moved to town, but after a terrible experience, I can't imagine going back. If you have allergies to any foods, I strongly suggest going elsewhere. I communicated my severe, deadly allergy to mammals very clearly to the bartender...provided a bi-lingual business card that also explained my severe allergy to the kitchen staff. This was not in a busy time, there was no one else at the bar. I ordered a cheese relleno, again expressing my serious allergy; that cross-contamination could kill me. I was assured they could handle the simple request of making one cheese relleno. WHAT ARRIVED WAS A BEEF STUFFED RELLENO. The most dangerous thing they could have possibly served me. I took one bite before immediately having to spit my food out on the bar and run to the bathroom to force vomiting in case I had swallowed grease. I am horrified by what happened to me, and I can never trust this place again. I believe no one should eat here if they have food allergies.

They were very busy and I had to wait to place my carry out order.That should have been my first sign that this food may be good. I ordered a quesadilla texano which has chicken , steak, shrimp etc. I normally go to another Mexican restaurant that's a little farther in Lusby . The steak was soo good and the shrimp was juicy and plump. The rice was perfect !My first thought was wow!! I called the manager and complimented the chef. This is my new spot now!!

Good food fast service great drinks place gets a lot of people outdoor seating atmosphere is great I support this business as local eat there often mostly for lunch

My family and I visited this spot after coming from the beach. The restaurant was pretty busy but it was also Labor Day weekend. The service was actually pretty fast however the food was awful. There was 9 of us total so we were very patient but that didn't help. We ordered shrimp and fish tacos. We also ordered the nachos and a chimichanga. Overall, I would only recommend this place if you want to walk from the beach and eat somewhere.

The food, service, and ambiance. Server was really attentive and fast. The host was really nice and fast to get a seat for us. The server brought us water along with extra chips and salsas.

The food is delicious and the drinks are very good. I love the mango habanero wings. The servers are always pleasant and the food comes out really fast. It is great for family night or date night.

Have been a few times, kitchen can run good and bad Keep mostly to simple items. Ownership needs to keep the ingredients as they are listed on the menu. Salads are served with scredded iceberg and not romaine. And the chili relleno are done with steamed bell peppers, do not taste good, not made as a dish, but slapped together onto the plate.

Celebrated three family birthdays! Staff brought tequila shots for the adults and fried ice cream for the child. Our friend from Texas was highly complimentary of the food.
