Pizza Roma

Sadly, I had to dry dock my sailboat for the season, but to make everything better I stopped by my fave pizza spot on "the Eastside," Pizza Roma. I called ahead to order for take out and my two pies were ready pretty much when I arrived. They were busy for a Friday night, but everyone was still very pleasant as they hustled to get orders made. I always get a Greek Salad when I'm here because it's large enough for three people to share and the house made dressing is one of my favorite salad dressings on the planet. I even bought one to take home, as well as one for my friend for her birthday. Thanks for all the summer season pizza, Pizza Roma! I'll see you in the spring when I drop my boat back in the Bay.

Thought about pizza the other night and randomly got a craving for theirs. Pizza it is!We just ordered carry out for a 14-inch pizza with Italian sausage and mushrooms. It was the day the Ravens played Thursday night football, so I definitely expected a longer wait, but we were told it would be ready in 15 minutes. We probably took just about 15 minutes to get there, and didn't have to wait at all once there to pick it up. I like their pizza because the crust isn't too thick - I'm not sure if it's considered thin crust, but it is on the thinner side. I like their sausage (which I can be picky about) and they always do a nice job of adding enough toppings and distributing them well. Their ratio of cheese to sauce is good too - it's not TOO much cheese (which yes, is a thing! At least on pizza). My only complaint is they can be a little pricey. The biggest size pizza they have is 14 inches, and each topping on that size is an extra $2. It might not be a place you'd want to order pizza for a crowd.

We ordered from here while visiting my cousin for a late night dinner. They don't deliver, but were close to where we were. They were closing in 20 min, but the man that answered said that if we could be there in 20, he would make our pizzas. The fact that he was willing to do that so close to closing was fantastic! We picked up the pizza and man--this pizza was so good! It really was excellent! The customer service to the last bite of our pizza was outstanding--I highly recommend here.

Great Italian food, fast.The Spaghetti with chicken Parmesan garlic bread they also have grilled cheese with soup combo Soup of the day chicken noodle. Today I get chicken Parmesan sub turned out great this is a great stop in Sparrows Point to get some lunch.

I haven't been to this establishment for approximately 10 years, but I wanted to give it a shot since it still seemed to have the same flair. My experience was good, but nothing highly notable. Below are the items I purchased and comments:Spaghetti /w Meatballs:The meatballs are the star of the dish, large in size (1.5 times the size of a golf ball) and are very tasty and moist. The pasta is cooked to an Al Dente, however nothing sticks to the noodles. The sauce is fair, but the pasta would have been much better if the noodles were able to have sauce stick to them. Decent dish, not a bad experience. Just had much better from other carry out locations.Cheese Pizza:Pizza crust is hand tossed, but still has something to be desired. If you're looking for a fluffy end crust, this is not where you want to go. The crust at the end is dense, and slight dry. There's no real flavor in it other than 'bread'. Cheese is great quality, and sauce is a touch on the sweet side from the Mendoza line. Again, decent dish, but you have to be into this type of pizza to get full enjoyment.Vegetable Pizza (specialty):My wife ate this and said it was "ok". The pizza lacked a flavorful punch, and fell rather flat. Not a bad pizza, again, just something to be desired.Tossed Salad /w Peppercorn Dressing:My wife ate this and said it was fantastic. Would definitely recommend to anyone.All in all, this is an 'ok' location to eat at. If you want something quick that will satisfy your hunger, this is not a bad place to go. If you want something to satisfy your palate, I would go elsewhere.

It doesn't take much to beat what Seven Eleven serves up the street. I recently ordered a steak sub with provolone cheese, peppers and mushrooms. My mistake was not ordering fried onions because this sub was totally dry since no cooking oil was used. Water melting off the frozen steak wafer is not an appropriate or tasty cooking medium. The peppers were raw, the sub dry and tasteless. It's a shame because a little care and a squirt of oil or butter could have totally transformed the sub from mediocre to a decent cheese steak.

Will always recommend Pizza Roma!I've been ordering from Pizza Roma since moving in the Edgemere/Sparrows Point area for about 20 years. I love all of their food, but a few of my favorites is their homemade sauce & meatballs, rice pudding and Greek salad dressing, which they bottle and sell, and love their chicken Tuscany soup! Yum! You can carryout or sit inside. Establishment is kept very clean and the service is awesome!Don't forget to get a bottle of their Greek salad dressing. It also makes for a great gift!

Phenomenal service and the subs were fantastic. 20 minutes after ordering I was feeding 9 colleagues in the office. Very accommodating employees and convenient location to the office. Money spent is worth it can't wait to have lunch again!

The company I am workling for recommended Pizza Roma as a dinner spot. My order was fairly easy - meat ball sub, chips, and a drink. I was amazed at how good the sub was. Service was good. THe crowd as a little subdued for a Thursday night. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

Great pizza ! We are transplants like most of the 19. That said, we've been looking for great pizza in this small town. Welp, Yelp. We found it ! Pizza aroma has excellent pizza ! Well worth the drive.
