Pigtown Wines, Beer & Liquor

Located right on the corner of Scott Washington Blvd . Reasonable priced however they didn't have crown apple (my drink of choice ) ... service was fair. Store presentation was ok

This little place is a true gem! It's conveniently located in my neighborhood, has a great selection of spirits, and the items are very reasonably priced! Not to mention the staff are always very friendly and polite, as well as knowledgeable about the products sold there.I usually drop by to get wine and have access of a range of cheap to moderately expensive bottles. I've compared the prices to The Cellars near Harris Teeter, and Pigtown Wines is always cheaper!

If there were more than 5 stars....I would give it!! This little place has transformed into a TRUE community establishment. The owners pay attention to customer requests.....and ACTUALLY ORDER THEM! I know....right? lol. I am thrilled at the new cold storage coolers, as well as an above and beyond willingness , when they see you looking for a bit....they will ask you what you are looking for. They did not have several items I was looking for.....and within several weeks POOF, they were there. THAT is customer service. Yes the prices are a bit higher than larger places.....but I am all about supporting small , local businesses. (That are handily located 4 blocks from our home!!). Friendly faces, and attention to detail....(plus.....when the gentlemen are working......VERY cool videos & R&B songs. ) (bonus)

If you are looking for a decent bourbon selection, a great wine selection and great customer service this is a go to. Most of the liquor stores in the area have a limited wine selection plus I'm yelling through a screen of bulletproof glass. If you are the type that reads the back of a wine bottle then this is a liquor store worth going to in the area.

I LOVE this place! They have a good wine, beer and liquor selection and even better service! Everyone who runs this place is always in a great mood and make me feel like family! We usually walk here so we bring our dog and they always invite her in! If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!!! :)

A nice wine selection - frankly, much better than I was expecting to find - and decent, competitive prices as well. The only suggestion I would make is to have more white wines chilled.

Pigtown is movin' on up!Before this place opened, there was no place to buy booze in the neighborhood with a credit card, or where you weren't separated from the cashier by bulletproof glass.This place carries mid- to upscale wine, beers and snacks (pita chips! hummus! hard cheese!). It is a little pricey, and definitely not a place to buy your Sutter Home or MGD tallboy, but if you are looking to drop some coin on some primo spirits, this is your joint.It is owned by some really friendly folk and great to have a little slice of class making inroads in our neighborhood....And besides, I can still take my fiver down two blocks if I want to get my double deuce of natty boh.

Oh, how I love you Spiritas. You're not just another liquor store on the corner selling marked up Mad Dog 20/20 in a paper bag. You sell yummy wine worth drinking, and a very nice selection of beer too. Everything is pretty darn reasonable, so I can save money for...my next bottle of wine.You know why I keep coming around? Sure, you look good. And I'm attracted to that, I won't lie. But you're flexible and are always willing to meet my needs. I hear about a wine that I'd like to try but you don't carry? You'll order it for me. Ditto for beer.And you feed me. The stomach is the way to a woman's heart too, y'know. But carrying Sabras hummus -- the tastiest in all the land -- bonus. Your monthly wine tasting neighborhood date-nights are always a lot of fun. I'm glad you keep me posted on 'em on your Facebook page. Because I wanna see more of you. I guess you could tell your friends I'm ready to take it to the next level.

This place always seems a little-overpriced the customer service is excellent and the selection is good. There is another liquor store two blocks away that is cash only and a bit seedy, so I prefer to come if I have to get liquor while in Pigtown/Washington Village

Most friendly people ever and really clean liquor store. Limited options but fair prices.
