Pho Saigon

In my mind this was going to be the perfect Vday restaurant for its unassuming location in a nearly vacant strip mall where we wouldn't need a reservation or have to wait. I was wrong! As we arrived we were among three other parties standing near the door waiting to be seated. Due to the size of the restaurant we couldn't help but stare at all the delicious food being consumed. The interior is cozy/tight. We were given a relatively short wait time and surprisingly we were in fact seated very quickly at one of the middle comunal tables. Our order was taken promptly and our food arrived about 15-20 minutes later. The pho was pho-nominal! And the pork perfectly seasoned and cooked. There was plenty of broth to take home. Based on the amount of foot traffic for pick up orders and willingness to stand and wait for the hopes of a seat, the secret is out. This is where you want to go to enjoy a warm delicious bowl of Pho. We will definitely be back!

CARRY OUT ONLY REVIEW!Came here for some pho. Ordered and paid online the Bun Bo Hue, a spicy beef and pork noodle soup with sliced Vietnamese ham, beef brisket, pig's knuckle (yes, you read that right), and a pork blood cube (you read that right too!)The order was ready by the time I arrived. Upon entering I gave my order info and pickup was a breeze (the staff were pleasant).When I arrived home and unpacked my order, they had it compartmentalized: broth in a reusable container; noodles and meat in a reusable bowl; the accompaniments: (shredded red and green cabbage, jalapeño slices, lime wedges, bean sprouts , and lemongrass along with small packets of hoisin sauce, hot sauce and hot pepper oil), in a plastic bag.I assembled my bowl minus the pork blood cube, I haven't advanced to that level of pho eating yet, and dug right in.The broth was tasty, but a bit greasy. The beef brisket was tender along with the ham, but the pork knuckle, which I was really excited about, was a bit tough. The noodles had bite, which I like. I added a bit of the hot pepper oil and let me warn you, go easy on that stuff! The little bit I added was just enough for me to "feel the fire", but still enjoy my pho.All in all, it was a decent bowl of pho, but I won't be rushing back here when there are SO many other pho places that are better.

This place is my staple pho place. Even though there are closer pho places near me, I'll always take the hour drive to come back and eat here. It feels like home here.I have taken many people here and it has always became a staple especially after a hangover. The soup is always consistent and the amount of vegetables they give for pho is so much. The amount of meat they give you is crazy. The spring rolls was very refreshing and the peanut sauce that came with it was also very good! There are bags covering the sauces and the sriracha has been questionable but since I don't really use them, I don't really mind. The place is very colorful and theres always TV's showing some random food on the screen so I would be craving whatever is showing on TV next.

Tried pho Saigon yesterday after a friend recommended it, and it didn't disappoint! I got there around noon on a Saturday and it was packed. Luckily there was a table left so I didn't have to wait. The menu is expansive but I noticed most people had pho. Service is no frills but extremely efficient and effective. The food came quickly and I was impressed but the freshness of the veggies and large portion size. I can't say I'm a pho expert, but I thought ur was very tasty! Will be back:)

Good food and great staff. Busy on a Wednesday night! Daughter & I were able to get a booth. Spring rolls, vermicelli and jasmine tea. Sweet little spot.

Absolutely on e of the best Pho places in the DMV. It appears that the ownership has changed but the food is still consistent and the same. The pho soup is absolutely to die for! I can't get enough of this comfort food. The portions are humongous and the ChaGio is delicious. They actually use the correct wrapper for the spring roll instead of the egg roll skin. Really love this place but the wait can be a pain since they are almost always full. Aside from the different Pho Noodle soup, you must try the Vietnamese wings. Super crispy, sweet and savory wings with sweet fish sauce flavor.

Not been here in a couple years but came here because someone was highly craving pho- I thought the pho soup was delicious I got the flank steak/ beef pho - soup broth not bad but the meat was very fatty. Daughter got the seafood pho and the broth was not nearly as flavorful -waiter was one guy taking all orders - not mean but not super friendly -ambience was fine but freezing cold every time the door opened

The food at pho saigon is always so yummy! This time i got shrimp pho and shared the spring rolls. My boyfriend got the beef pho. The service is quick and efficient. The restaurant is always packed and colorfully decorated. I highly recommend it.

After having pho the day before, I really wanted some again when the weather was cold and rainy! I took myself to Pho Saigon and this was my 2nd time visiting. I will say this place got very busy so while I walked in and was seated right away, when I was leaving, there were a few people waiting for tables to open up. Service was quick and friendly! Pho, nice and hot!! Perfect for the cold weather. I ordered my usual summer rolls, pho with chicken and shrimp, and a ginger ale. I really wanted to grab the Vietnamese wings but it would've been too much food for just myself so I passed on them this time! They looked heavenly! My food was delicious and I enjoyed every bite!!

Second best pho I've ever had, only because this is the second pho restaurant I've eaten at.
