Based on only 1 visit, I'm giving Pho Dat Thanh a tentative give stars.Pho was flavorful (the brisket was among the best I've had).Vermicelli bowls were full of tender meats.Caramel meats looked terrific.

I'm writing this review as a Vietnamese person who has grown up my whole life eating Vietnamese food. My family roots are in Hue, Vietnam and I am very familiar with Hue food. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue spicy beef noodle soup and it was underwhelming. There was no flavor to the soup/broth and I even had to add sugar from the sugar packets on the table. I needed more seasoning, I needed more chicken bouillon flavor, sugar, fish sauce, lemon grass, bolder, stronger flavors. The only upside from this noodle dish was that they provided a lot of beef, which was a bang for my buck. I also liked the authentic pork feet in it, I wish they had pork blood cubes to make it more authentic, but I'm not sure if this overall dish was authentic in general. it could use some work to make the flavors pop more. I think this restaurant watered down the authentic soup dish to meet the needs of the population in Towson, so I understand why it tastes water down. It was too lackluster for my taste.

Pho Dat Thanh has everything. Clean restaurant, good service, and good Pho. It doesn't take much for me to be pleased in Pho restaurant. As long as the Pho is made with care and picture perfect. I ordered D2 with brisket, tendon, and tripes. Most places are sloppy with tripes but this place does it right. Their noodles are very thin.If you live or can get to this Pho place you're lucky! I would love have this place back home in Hawaii.

Great food! I was waiting for the movie to begin at the theater nearby, and I wanted something to eat, possibly in the theater, so I found this place. I usually need to look for gluten-free or something that at least appears to be gluten-free and usually I can count on Thai food, Lao food, or Vietnamese food.I ordered the grilled pork and the grilled pork rice rolls. Both were very tasty. My order was to go, but while I was waiting, I took notice of the awesome surroundings of the restaurant. The vibe was very cozy and quaint. I would love to eat here again the next time I am walking around the Towson area .

When it's a cold wintery night with little sunlight for days to come in the midst of final exam season, the one sure-fast cure to your chilly heart is pho! It's been a crazy busy week and I couldn't add anymore on my plate by coming up with a weeknight dinner. I am so glad I was able to call this restaurant after a final exam ended to put in a late night order. The person was the phone was so friendly and helpful to help do the order on the phone and make it easy to pay on the store instead of being required to order online. When I arrived, the food was hot! The interior of the place looked cozy :) I had such a delicious dinner, they packed everything hot and fresh along with ample extra condiments. It was a basic spice level, so if you want it spiced, be sure to request for some hot sauce stuff.I highly recommend ordering the vegetarian pho and vegetarian summer rolls.Parking is limited to street parking and adjacent parking lot.

I appreciated they were open on Thanksgiving day. They were very kind and had great prices. I ordered their pork and beef banh mi. The meat was very well-made and tasty! I also liked their cilantro and pickled vegetables. However the bread tasted stale and was very hard, I also felt they added too much mayo. Overall, I'd try them again to see if their pho is good, but wouldn't order their bahn mi again.

Great service, we walked in and were seated right away, the place was a little busy but there were a few tables available. It's a decent sized place with comfy seating. For parking, you will need to find street parking or parking in a local lot or garage near by. Water was brought out right away and we were greeted as soon as we sat down.We knew exactly what we wanted and ordered right away. The food was fantastic, seasoned well and lots of fresh green herbs, hot peppers, and bean sprouts. The portion sizes were big for the price as well. We also got pho by forgot to take a photo because of how excited we were to eat it. Everything was great and warmed your soul! We would definitely come back here again! Also, The Saigon noodles are delicious, highly recommended trying them, they are even better the next day, so save some left overs.

Completely ignored. Waited 20 minutes and i had to go up and ask if anyone was coming to take an order. Then once I placed my order there was an even longer wait. The waiter passed by us more than once to serve people and we never even got our drinks. Will not be coming back
