Perus Chicken II

This place is AWESOME! The food is so authentic and flavorful. I got the 1/2 chicken with rice and yucca. Everything was seasoned so well and the dipping sauces were delicious. There is casual seating inside but also a great place to carry out. The staff was very friendly and the pricing is extremely reasonable! Only thing is the cheesecake was not good at all so I do not recommend that. But everything else we had was amazing. We will definitely be going back here!

If you were in the mood for some really delicious, roasted chicken, then you found the place. My husband and I go here pretty regularly and absolutely love their Peruvian chicken. I always get the quarter white dinner which comes with two sides. Tonight I got the rice, and the coleslaw - the slaw is sweet and peppery. It makes a terrific meal just the right portion. Sometimes my husband gets the half a chicken, which is definitely enough for two people. They have great sides, I also really love their plantains and their street corn. And if you want an extra treat, get the Tamarind drink. It's so good and refreshing! The place is rather small but it's a really great place to pick up carry out to take home, or to dine in. Extra bonus is that there's an ice cream store right next-door. Free parking and conveniently right off of Route 40 in Aberdeen. Definitely give this place a try. You won't regret it.

I was delighted to find Peruvian chicken in Havre de Grace! This order-at-the-counter place is small and dark, but my quarter white was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The generous serving of crisp, hot yuca fries was also perfect. My black beans were good, but the chicken and yuca were the standouts. Service was fast and friendly, and it was easy to get in and out on Route 40. The price was even a bit lower than I'm used to in Raleigh. Great place for lunch or a casual dinner!

I think this is my second or third time visiting. Today's experience was really good. The food has always been good. But they absolutely changed their packaging. Maybe the food has also improved. I don't know what is different but today's experience has absolutely made this a regular spot for me. Ordered online took about 25 minutes for the food to get ready. I originally was thinking fast food, but am glad I changed my mind. The chicken was very good and flavorful. The plantains were delish. The rice and beans were yummy. Nice and fluffy rice. My kids got the burrito and quesadilla- great packaging. Looked delicious. Happy to have a good spot in the neighborhood.

Chicken rico's is way better. Potato salad is basically mashed potatoes and mayonnaise served cold. The chicken was barely warm and dry. Green and Yellow sauce is watered down.

Perus Chicken was an absolute blessing for Harford County. The chicken was very accurately-flavored to that found in Peru. Today, however, we were disappointed to find the restaurant completely empty. The chicken had been re-heated because it's obvious they're no longer getting the traffic they used to. The mayo is now regular mayo not homemade Peruvian style. No "arroz chifa" or Chinese rice option. Plaintains overcooked. No chicha morada, only a similarly colored drink from Jamaica flowers. So sad.

I'm a bit of a Peruvian chicken snob. We came here because it was close to Great Wolf Lodge and were just looking for something local. Wow, my wife and I both thought this was some of the best Peruvian chicken we've ever had. The white meat was very tender. The yucca looks undercooked because it's pale, but it's actually some of the best cooked yucca we've had. I wonder if they get the temperature low on the oil and time it just right. What a gem!

Chicken was good but sides are awful ... not a good selection and tiny servings ...and mashed potatoes were COLD ....too bad because Chicken Rico in Aberdeen is delicious and has great sides and they give you plenty ... more than you can eat . I was hoping this place would save me the trip to Aberdeen . Nope . Please get better ! I want to patronize you but you just don't measure up today .Service was fine .
