Perryville Sports Bar & Grill

Ok I admit that I've been back a couple of times. Still the same rating honestly because they took out most of the tables and put in some pool tables and often the juke box is blaring. But the burgers are good actually and I've got a soft spot for the seasoned fries they sell. So when I want some thing quick and simple I'll swing by. And the staff are always nice.

Nice local sports bar, the food is not the best (it's a sports bar, not an Italian restaurant) but the beers and liquors are more than OK for the area. The place is open until late night so that is a plus. The staff is friendly but they seem to still be learning the way the bar works so an extra quote of patience is recommended. They have karaoke on Friday nights but the audience is not always up to it. Nice to go have a few drinks and some fries.

So disappointing...we live within walking distance and had hoped something halfway decent would finally occupy this space. Unfortunately, it's perhaps the worst restaurant in that building to date. I can't fathom why someone would invest all of that time & money into a business and then be just south of mediocre. It boggles the mind. Food portions are small, and even my son's burger was awful. My scampi had the worst aftertaste (I was only able to choke down 2 bites). Service is probably their biggest issue...the waitstaff seems as though they've had NO prior experience or training. Sadly, like the other reviewers, we won't be back.

We wanted something different and we got it. Ordered Salmon..."Sorry Sir, we just ran out "... Over at he next table a little girl asked for a cherry on her Ice Cream... "I'm sorry... We just ran out."... Then I couldn't hear what it was but the sole server in the restaurant went to the man at the next table and said they just ran out of something... I couldn't hear what it was they ran out of... Prices however are great! Stuffed Flounder $13.95! And it's tastes decent...Salmon (if they had it) $9.95... They have Keno! Waitress seems new and she's on her own... We asked for bread or rolls and she had to check on it.... Came back and said they only serve bread with dinner. Cole slaw was okay, I have had worse... All in all I give it 3 stars... Don't think we will return.

Each time I've been here I have a good time. The food is good. They also have karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays. So they win in my book! :)

Decided to stop in as an alternative to Havre De Grace and I'm glad we did. If the owner isn't greeting you and pouring your beer, he's in the back making your meal. The coldest beer I've had in a long time. The wings were delicious but I couldn't help notice the 12oz burger which will be my first choice the next time I go. This is just a great sports bar all around.

The beer bottle special during happy hour was nice and i got to play 2 rounds of pool. The girl behind the counter didn't know much about anything having to do with food or mixed drinks and they adverstise prices but charge higher prices than the signs say. We wont be back. Just a below average hole in the wall bar.

We live locally and love visiting this place! Al is always welcoming and the food is always delicious. The steak n' shrimp special on Thursday night you can't beat!! We love the burgers, the wings, the spaghetti and meatballs, the cheesesteaks. . .all delicious. Wait staff is always very nice as well as the bartenders. Beer is always cold. There are pool tables, shuffleboard and a great jukebox as well as a pin ball machine. Super place to go for the locals! I wish more people would give it another try who haven't been back in awhile. It's definitely improved. Go check it out!

Tonight was my third visit to the Perryville Sports Bar. Each time the service was very good and the food was excellent. I've had the crab cake, gyro and burger. The portions were large and delicious. I have to say the prices were good also. I've also met the owner who's been friendly and accommodating. I'll be back !!!!
