The ice cream here taste very good. The one i like the most is the pistachio. It's a good place to relax after taking a walk around historic ellicott city.

MUST have when in Old Ellicott City. I'm a sucker for high quality ice cream and Park Ridge Creamery doesn't skimp on high quality ingredients and flavors. I spoke with the cashier and they claimed they use no artificial flavors or colors. I love how everything is natural and made from scratch. I loved the thick, rich texture of the ice cream. It's a delectable treat worth every penny. They're very generous with the scoop sizes as well. I got 1 scoop of pistachio and 1 scoop mango sorbet. The pistachio is rich, buttery, creamy, and divine- I highly recommend (no, it's not the fake green color or fake flavor.) Their mango sorbet didn't taste like a sorbet- it tasted like an ice cream but I'd consider that a compliment. Honestly, both of these flavors when combined mesh well together. I also suggest trying their coconut if possible- it's also sweet, creamy, and delicious.I have such fond memories of this place and I hope this place keeps up their quality, service, and lovely ambiance. Can't wait to come back!

3 stars for the ice cream, 4 stars for the ambiance and the front yard / outside space the place has. It's gorgeous - I wouldn't recommend driving far for the ice cream, but if you're in the area, want some ice cream, would recommend. It seems like a good place to chill and hang with dessert after a walk around Old Ellicott city. They also had live music when we were there (weekday evening) which was a huge plus!

So creamy, makes you want to come back for more anytime you think of ice cream! I challenge myself to try all the flavors because it's just that good! The people are kind and very helpful when it comes down to it! Love taking my dog here on small little treats after a little walk around town!

Nice, quaint little ice cream shop that is located right alongside a very busy cafe. Turn into the Hamilton Street parking area from Frederick Rd and find a place to park. Then look for a stone building that houses the Little Market Café ( stone/green siding) and you will find the Creamery to the right hidden behind a tree. When we went on a Thursday evening during the summer, there was a lively crowd seated out front where there are bistro tables set up for customers of both eateries. A live band was playing. We already ate dinner, so we skipped the cafe, but went for a sweet treat. Servers at the walk up window were friendly. Not many flavors, but the ice cream they have is very creamy. What caused the lowering of stars to 4?--The serving size was a bit small. Not as generous as other ice cream shops. It was a nice alternative to Baskin Robin. So if you want to come sit, eat, and talk, come and try pizza at the cafe next door and get a scoop or two at the Creamery!

After grabbing dinner across the street we walked over and grabbed a scoop of ice cream while a band was playing live music. I got the coffee cookie that was really good- the coffee wasn't overpowering and it had the right amount of cookie. I liked that they offered non-dairy options. It would be nice if they had a "GF" mark on gluten free options for those with celiac. At $4 a cup, I felt the price was more than fair and I would recommend a visit if you are grabbing dinner in the area. There is plenty of free parking right in front of the storefront which is just off of main street.

This small ice cream shop packs a ton of flavor in their small menu.Park Ridge Creamery is a primarily outdoor establishment (at least as of present writing) where you order/pick-up your ice cream at a door an eat on one of the many outdoor seating arrangements. Service is quick and portion sizes are what you'd expect.I tried their super chocolaty Chocolate Love flavor and their coffee and brownie Wake and Bake flavor. The Chocolate Love was thick and decedent, with each bite feeling rich with different types of chocolate flavors, all mixed together on my tongue. The Wake and Bake combined a creamy coffee base with thick chunks of hardened brownie, adding a nice dual texture feel. I'd have like a little more prominent coffee flavoring in the Wake and Bake, but I was satisfied overall. The menu at Park Ridge Creamery is limited. Only about a dozen or so flavors, plus a few types of ice cream drinks and sandwiches. But the quality of the ice cream is high enough that I don't hold the lack of variety against them.Wonderfully smooth ice cream combined with a charming outdoor sitting arrangement makes Park Ridge Creamery an excellent relaxation spot for ice cream lovers.

This ice cream shop is tucked away. Cute & quaint. Conveniently placed near a lot with ample parking. A short cobblestoned walk, you'll walk up to an order window. The staff is friendly and will provide samples should you ask. The menu is simple but there are some unique flavor combinations. The ice cram is very fresh and delicious. I got the wake & bake & caramel crunch. I absolutely loved the chocolate covered honeycomb in the caramel crunch. We were able to eat outside. The tables are spaced apart and everyone walking up to order wore masks. It really is a local treat that everyone should visit at least twice.
