its a local landmark, and so old school of an interior. I met some out of state business associates for a lunch, they wanted an authentic MD Crab Cake. It was pretty loud from the bar in the dining room. The service was prompt and friendly. Maryland Crab soup was tasty and not laden with salt, fairly full of ingredients. The crab cake was phenomenal (as advertised).Pappas definitely earns the reputation they apparently have.

We had a great time dining at Pappas! We were seated quickly on a Sunday in a booth, and the restaurant wasn't too crowded. The service was excellent--our servers were friendly and made sure we got our food fast.We ordered the Double crab cake platter along with cream of crab soup, caesar salad, and fries. The crab cakes were packed with meat and delicious with a bit of Tabasco and they special house seasoning. The cream of crab soup was rich, and served with soft fresh bread. It was great to enjoy good crab cakes without having to make the drive to Annapolis.Highly recommend for anyone craving great seafood in the suburbs! We'll definitely be back.

If looking for a restaurant with a relaxed environment , good service and good food, then Pappas sports bar could be for you (also has a fancy dinning area). Came here for lunch with friends and we were sat quickly! It has booth, tables and bar seating very spacious. Accommodating for any size party. Our waiter Victor was very attentive, pleasent and listened & delivered on our request. The daily lunch specials are reasonable. My choice was pasta with Shrimp & Mussels came with soup and salad it was good ,and your choice of tea, coffee, soda. If wanting a little more to drink they are also reasonable . We enjoyed and will be back. Come check this place out!!

The food was great. The service was excellent and beyond is pretty cool because one side is the restaurant side and the other side is the bar side you get the best of both worlds. What I also liked about this place was the waiter was also the bartender.

Had dinner in the bar area. Pretty lively and fun vibes. Service was ok. Didn't really come to check on us after the food drop so couldn't get what I wanted (pepper, lemon). Oh well. The food was alright. I've had waaaaay better crabcakes elsewhere recently. The crab dip too heavy and bland for me, but the pita that accompanied it was good. The steamed broccoli was great.... lol. Again, oh well. On to the next.

We have been to Pappas in Parkville and for a birthday celebration we decided to try this location in the Cranbrook Shopping Center. We had a 6 pm reservation on a Sunday and they were semi-busy..They brought out a complimentary cucumber salad which was a nice touch. Our Crab dip that was served with soft Pita wedges was delicious. I can't remember the draft IPA I ordered but it was good.We ordered their famous Crab Cakes and they didn't disappoint. I'm always surprised when the steak (Ribeye) at a seafood spot is excellent- their Ribeye was tasty.Anchovies were available for the Caesar salad which is a plus for me.We ordered a Triple Chocolate Mousse-rich and decadent.Service was upbeat and engaged. Ciara took great care of us. Multi-winner for their Crab cakes and lives up to the hype!

Perfect dinner for the two of us of two crabcakes and Caesar salads. It was a busy Monday night prior to the Ravens' game. We were lucky to find two seats at the bar. Meal was terrific (as always) and we were each able to take home our second crabcake to have for lunch the next day. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and lucky enough to have one son stop by and have a few beers with us on his way home from work. Enjoyable times.

First time visiting Pappas. We really enjoyed the crab cakes. 8oz broiled, can't go wrong. Service was good, waiter seemed to have a big section so we didn't see him often but he was always hustling. There is a sports bar side that we walked into. Very active, lots of TV's, same menu. We Sat in a back room, a little quieter but nice. We'll be back.
