Olde Town Restaurant

Small in-town restaurant. Much better than the chains out by the highway. Was exactly what I was looking for, for breakfast as I was passing through the area. Chipped beef gravy was very tasty over home fries and the portion was plenty. Waitstaff were very busy as there was a brief wait at the door due to the customer traffic and that's always a good sign. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area!

We stumbled on this place many moons ago and have been locked in since. We live in Sykesville and nothing in Sykesville, Eldersburg or even Ellicott City, comes close to the food quality and down home atomosphere! Friendly staff and did I mention the Biggens potatoes...mmmm! Best French Toast anywhere and when you ask for a side of anything, be it sausage gravy, bacon etc, it is a meal in itself. The Olde Town Restaurant gets it and they are rewarded with loyal customers who are in turn, rewarded with what is as close to a breakfast you cooked for yourself...but even better!

By far best breakfast place in mount airy. BEST sausage and gravy!!!! It does get busy on weekends so be aware of that - but it's busy cause it's the best.

Everything on the menu is amazing. The service is always great even when the place is packed. The coffee is always flowing and everyone seems happy. Please come here the atmosphere is amazing!

The food was decent. I enjoyed them, but was the food really worth it from their super super slow service? No. We had to wait to be seated which is fine, but what wasn't fine was getting forever for the server to come to take our order. There were two out in the front. One seemed to be doing everything and another just clean and chat. When I asked if we could give our order now because we were ready- we were told to wait. They're going through in order we were seated. The service was just really sloooooowwwwwwwwwwww!!

My sister brought me here on a Sunday for a late breakfast. We were able to grab a last table. The staff was amazing. Cute little place.She got a Greek omelet and I got a veggie omelet. We were both very happy with out selection.I Iook forward to returning and trying other items.

Had breakfast here with my husband this morning and what a cute gem we've found. The menu is huge and so are the portions (I couldn't finish more than a fourth of my plate). The prices are so inexpensive for the amount of food you get as well. It's really nice and we will be back for sure.Btw just read reviews about wait times. We went on Tuesday morning around 9am and it was completely empty. More people showed up after us, but if you go on Tue morning there's no wait at all. I can only imagine it gets packed on weekends.

Before we went, i read through the reviews like always, and summarized to "food is great , but service is not up to par". We had time on hand today and decided to give it a try. & ... yes they were busy. The Place is not big. Very cozy. 2 servers, yup now you see why the the wait can be long. However, everything we ordered came out great and tasty!!! Hence the 5 star. Portions were generous, they did up the price a bit based on previous reviews, which is understandable, all $$$ is going up. Despite the busy crowd they have to take care of, all out orders came out right and they kept us in loop, we truly appreciate the effort. Will return and recommend!

Just went to Olde Town Restaurant and had a most wonderful experience! The service was very attentive and the food was excellent, but the most impressive thing we experienced was the overwhelming nostalgia! It was a trip back to our hometowns, with food and atmosphere equal to all the good things we remember. Take an opportunity to stop in and enjoy the best down home food and ambience you have experienced in a long time!

Cute small diner with fast service. Great breakfast options, the breakfast potatoes are always seasoned to perfection.
