Oh! Poke

The place is nice and clean and the man that helped me was really friendly. I really wanted to like this place and even gave it another try after being disappointed my first time around but again I was super underwhelmed. I paid $16 for regular poke and I literally counted 8 small salmon cubes. I ordered spicy tuna and salmon but didn't find any trace of tuna and the portion was so small.I also ordered Malaysian Roti with curry sauce ($7) and it was definitely not what I was expecting. It was just green onion pancake and coconut curry sauce and not the authentic roti I had at a Penang Malaysian restaurant. Even though the food tasted decent, it wasn't worth the money I paid in my opinion. Maybe I'm better off trying other items on the menu ‍

8.26.23Purchased a LocalFlavor offer, $15 for $30 worth of poke bowl & more. It is located in the Columbia Palace Plaza and in the corner next to Kokee Tea. Aside from poke bowls, they offer sandwiches, rice, appetizers, and ice cream. They have new lunch specials which include 4 rice entrees and 4 sandwiches to choose from.I purchased the chicken banh mi for my hubby and purchased the miso soup and chicken teriyaki poke bowl for myself. It took awhile to prepare the banh mi and chicken teriyaki.Staff who took the order was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu when I asked questions.Unfortunately the banh mi and poke bowl were just average. The chicken in my poke bowl was bland. It tasted like it was boiled. It needed to be marinated to give it more flavor. We both agreed we have had better. The miso soup was the highlight of my dinner. We have no plans to return, but wish them well.

Stopped here for a quick lunch with my wife. Both of us are foodies. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and the flavors were amazing. This is a mom & pop place so it's mostly home made. They make their own kimchi as well. Wendy, the owner chatted us up and we were very happily full without being stuffed. We highly recommend.

I've only eaten here once, but I'm definitely coming back! Super clean establishment, quick service, absolutely loved the pork fried rice with vegetables, and they have a diverse menu!

The place is clean and the food is very fresh. I had a poke bowl with greens and spicy salmon. House sauce is really good and the service is just exceptional. So fun. I don't think I've ever met a more joyful restaurant employee - maybe the owner. I got carryout in a carryout bowl, so not sure what happened with the person who gave a poor rating and mentioned that.

Great service good conversation. I used a couple Groupons but keep coming back for big orders I live on for days at a time. Ramen is hearty and tasty. They customized my ingredients which was nice. They carry ice cream too which is diverse and amazing. Smoothies too. I highly recommend and will keep going back.

I ordered a CYO Large poke for delivery. I chose all spicy tuna on rice with some masago and seaweed, with seaweed salad on the side. For nearly 18 bucks I got, and this is being generous, one and a half small ice cream scoops worth of poke, random pieces of lettuce, and maybe a cup and a half of rice. This was my first time ordering, I don't know if they messed up, but I am extremely disappointed with the portions.It's a shame, too, because the food wasn't bad. The tuna was pretty good, and everything looked and tasted fresh. But holy crap this wouldn't fill up a child.Overall good food, but terribly tiny portions. I don't think I'd order from here again, the dollar to food ratio was worse than haute cuisine.

First time customer who discovered the restaurant through the HoCo Eats group. I've been searching for a good and any place that sells curry laksa in Howard county, and I think I've finally found it! Broth was delicious, flavorful and brought the heat. The roast pork I ordered with it was also really good- not dry. My wife ordered the Hawaiian fried rice and said it was incredible! Will definitely come back.

Such a cute spot that serves delicious poke bowl! Surprised by how delicious the curry is, too. Added bonus: The owners are super kind.

Staff were lovely, food looked and tasted incredible! All in all, wonderful place grab lunch!
