Oak in Hanover is a hidden gem that brings a touch of sophistication to this charming town. For this area, the food feels almost out of place--but in the best way possible. The ambiance is elegant yet welcoming, with modern touches that set the stage for an enjoyable dining experience. The prices are surprisingly reasonable, especially considering the quality of the dishes.Every dish at the table received high praise. The pappardelle was a standout, with its delicate, ribbon-like texture that melted in your mouth. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, making it a dish worth returning for.The only minor drawback was the bread--while tasty, it felt a little overpriced for what you get, and it wasn't as warm or as flavorful as I'd hoped. It would be nice if it were included with the meal rather than an extra charge.Overall, Oak is a delightful surprise in Hanover. The food, atmosphere, and service combine to create a memorable experience that's definitely worth a visit.

Great service as usual! I couldn't help mt self while waiting on my holiday gift cards for family and friends, I decided to grab a bit of dinner for myself!PS. GREAT FOOD!

I usually don't leave negative reviews but this place deserves it. Called to place a takeout order and they don't take orders over the phone. So I decided to drive there and ordered pizza and the meatball appetizer. They refused to make me a meatball appetizer to go but if I eat there it's available. Then tried to order a pretzel roll and was told they won't make that either for takeout. Apparently if you order takeout they can choose what you can leave there with. Don't go there based on their menu because it's not available "for takeout." We definitely WON'T BE BACK.

Oak has been on my list to try for a while and now that I have, I am kicking myself for not going sooner! Took family from out of town tonight and everyone loved it. The food was delicious, we all had pasta, all house made - perfecto! Service was helpful with our decisions and attentive. The restaurant was pretty full and a little on the loud side. I wouldn't choose it if I wanted to have a quiet dinner but it's got a very upbeat atmosphere and feels like great time to go with great food. Can't wait to go back again. Best dish at our table was the Wild Boar Candele.

What amazing pizza!!! A wonderful brick oven pizza, the way it should be. Great selection of alcoholic beverages and mix drinks. The Brussel Sprouts were delicious.

The food is delicious and the pasta is made fresh daily. We enjoyed a seat at the bar and staff and locals were very friendly. Definitely a good little spot.

The food was AMAZING!!!!! Hands down would recommend - we enjoyed the whipped Ricotta - it could be one of the best things I've eaten. The Shrimp Toast was also phenomenal. The meatballs with the garlic bread focaccia was a chef's kiss and the Hen pasta was divine. You can tell they have a passion for food and we will happily make the drive again to enjoy the cuisine and service. The bartender, Zach was so knowledgeable about wine and both him and Pam were so hospitable. It was a last minute pick and we are so happy with our choice. You can't go wrong!!! Can't wait to come back to try the Pork Schnitzel and I'll save room for dessert as well!

I ate dinner here tonight. I enjoyed the atmosphere. Our waitress was extremely friendly and did a great job serving our table. The food was excellent. We got one of the specialty appetizers of meatballs. They were phenomenal. I would most certainly return to this restaurant. I expect to be in this area more often for work and I will be back.

Service on point if I could just teleport home right after I'd stay till close I arrived a bit late for dinner which was 2min before kitchen closing time because I was indecisive regardless, I was offered at the very least dinner bread, which I chose not to except and bothered the kitchen. The atmosphere is soothing calm. my only request would be the kitchen. Stay open longer.

In a town known for snacks and hotdog stands this place stands out. They have a creative menu and it is delicious. Service was great and extremely friendly.
