North Charles Fine Wine & Spirits

This is a good place to get adult beverage items. Good selection, good prices, helpful staff, pleasant aesthetic/ environment, tastings, and conveniently located near Eddies, two gas stations, Starbucks, and a bank. Nice!

Lowest prices in town hands down. Love this place and do not understand how they can have such reasonable prices!

Amazing selection of whiskey and a very friendly staff. Walking into liquor stores these days and asking for whiskey often results in eye rolls and attitude. Never in my life have I felt so unwelcome for trying to spend hundreds of dollars. The first time I went into North Charles with a few friends I was immediately offered a dram of great whiskey, and then another. The staff's knowledge was great and they seemed legitimately interested in chatting with us. When we asked about limited releases they were honest about how much they got and that they offered them at free tastings rather than giving them out to a handful of people. I think that's a great way to spread the wealth. I wound up walking out with a few bottles (which were very, very fairly priced), and so did my friends.

Whether you like box wines or a $400 bottle of Chateau de Beaucastel, this store is for you. They have the least expensive box wines anywhere around and a great selection of other wines. The staff is very knowledgeable and has been great at helping pair wines with special meals we have planned. I had originally avoided them because I thought they would be too expensive based on location but have found they have some of the best prices around. They are now my go to store. They also have a great selection of scotches, bourbons, rye, etc. Don't forget to drop in for their wine and liquor tastings. They let you taste a nice range in terms of price.

Absolutely delicious selection of wine but - no case discount?? Literally the only place I know that doesn't give at least 10%. Oh well, still yummy wine.

Great selection of wines, beers and liquor. And the staff, for the most part, are knowledgeable and personable. There is one old troll though, who manages the tasting section and looks at people like they are there to steal. Very unpleasant person, which is a shame because he's the first one you see.

Wow--just go in--talk with Robert and he will set you up! the best guidance for all wines, Scotch, marginalia, etc. etc....

Ridiculous selection of whiskey. The employees were really helpful and they had a big tasting spread on the Saturday I visited. Three different expressions of Abelour scotch and Whistlepig Rye to sample? Don't mind if I do!
