Went for birthday party of 12 last night. Food and service were wonderful. Felt like we were at home and our server was like the momma / I wish I knew her name. We had a variety of dishes seafood risotto out of this world, Alfredo saffron great, chicken Marsala, chicken parm the special shrimp and grits delicious. She recommend the blend red wine so good we got two bottles - Make reservation we got there 6 and already line.

I try to be real stingy about giving 5 star reviews on yelp but nonna Angela's totally deserves it. I've eaten here at least four times now and the food is consistently outstanding. The service is excellent too. The crab risotto and fettuccine zafferano are just two standout entrees among many delicious choices, and the desserts are absolutely off-the-charts fantastic.The only issue I've ever had is one time a special I ordered had a higher price on the check than what was written on the special board. But the dish was delicious, and when I pointed out the discrepancy, they promptly adjusted the bill. So I advise always to read your check carefully, and get yourself to nonna Angela's for some terrific Italian food.

Hats off once again dear Yelp community for this wonderful Italian restaurant. We were in town for a festival a couple of months ago. Afterwards we were tired and also hungry for a good non-fast food meal. We consulted the handy dandy Yelp app, which pointed us to Nonna Angela's. The restaurant is located in a nondescript strip mall and it's easy to get to from the major roads. Plenty of free parking in the private lot out front. When we got there we were a wee bit nervous because their sign wasn't yet lit up for the evening. Fortunately, they were open. We were seated promptly in a very nice large booth - you need this for the plates!We were greeted at our table promptly and our drink order taken along with appetizers. We got the crispy Brussels Sprouts and the mozzarella 'planks'. The Brussels Sprouts were yummy, and the mozzarella sticks nice and chewy. On to our entrees. On the recommendation of the server I chose the lasagna and I am so glad I did - the pasta was thin and delicate, gravy nicely balanced and blended well with cheeses and meats. It was, in a word, divine. My sister got the gnocchi, which were quite yummy. No dessert, we were completely stuffed when we were done with our meals. The atmosphere is casual-chic and relaxed. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area! Highly recommend.

This place fully exceeded our expectations. We'd heard of it from friends but hadn't ventured over yet, so it seemed perfect for a celebratory dinner. To start off we had a round of cocktails and were all happy with our beverages. We loved everything we tried from drinks to dessert - everything was 5/5 stars. The service was great & the staff was very accommodating when our group ended up being smaller than originally planned. Once inside and seated, you'd never know you were in a strip mall.

I was craving Chicken Parmigiana so I decided to stop by Nonna's since they have the claim for best Italian in the Crofton area. They did not disappoint. The two gentlemen bartenders were an amazing team. I arrived right before happy hour ended. I got the Crab Bruschetta app since appetizers are half off. It took 20-25 mins to get it, not sure what happened to my order. It arrived after my pollo parmigiana. I did not make a fuss over it, I just kept it and ate it. The bread was kind of hard & burnt. It didn't satisfy the craving I thought I had for it so I will pass next time. To drink, I started with a limoncello martini which was very tasty & had a glass of Riesling with myDinner. The Pollo Parmigiana was so good. I wish I was able to order it with the angel hair pasta & veggies since they allow you to do potatoes & veggies if you choose not to order the pasta. Nonetheless, I ordered a side of mixed veggies. The pollo parmigiana paired with the veggies was a match made it heaven. The portion size was great for the price! I really enjoyed it. I could not leave without getting a Cannoli. Nonna's hands down has the best cannoli I ever had. Definitely stayed on my mind once I left. Thank you Nonna's for satisfying my chix parm & cannoli craving.

Superb! Shout out to Richie the cutie behind the bar. He was hospitable and pleasant despite a very busy evening. The crab bruschetta was delicious. Plated perfectly to the point of enticing my bar seat neighbors to order. Later on in the evening we enjoyed family dinner in the dining area. They were able to accommodate our large family with ease and efficiency. Thanks so much Aidan for taking great care of us. Generous portions and fresh tasty food. I will be back.

Went here for my birthday with my parents and husband during the week. We were seated right away and ordered a bottle of wine for the table. The restaurant looks homey, good for couples or families and there were a lot of people seated at the bar. Everything was delicious so much that we ordered again a few weeks later when we had craving for Italian food. We ordered the penne alla vodka and Marcello pizza both times. You must try! My mom ordered the cream of crab soup and the amount of crab to soup ratio was the right amount- glad she let me try a bite! We actually went here instead of Carrabba's and it was the best decision. This is now my go to for Italian! Also, for those celebrating a birthday at this spot, they just bring out your dessert and candle without any singing so no need to be shy of you come on you birthday but the dessert is not free.

Nonna's is a solid spot that I've visited several times with friends and colleagues after business events, and it never disappoints. The servers are always nice and pleasant, making for a welcoming atmosphere. Although it is a popular place (especially on Saturday nights), so we usually make a reservation for our large group, about 20 people, well in advance. They seat us comfortably in the back corner at two tables, which works out great.While the atmosphere can get a bit loud due to the crowd, it's not overwhelming like a sports bar, making it still enjoyable. The food is solid Italian fare. I've stuck to safe choices like the Spaghetti and Meatballs and Salsiccia Rustica, which have been great for my picky palate. They also serve ginger beer, but you must ask for it since it's not on the standard menu.The bathrooms are clean but small, so just keep that in mind if you're a large person. Located in a strip mall, there's ample parking and other businesses nearby. I always enjoy the area, which is conducive to a peaceful post-dinner chat outside.

This is a place I've wanted to try for a while and I was finally able to. Nonna Angela's did not disappoint! Nonna Angela's is a very nicely designed restaurant with nods to Italy. The decor is above the standard Italian restaurant. We sat at one of the booths in the bar area. Our waiter was AMAZING! He was friendly and personable. One of our appetizers came out late so in ensured we got the happy hour price for it. We ordered the Mozzarella Fritta, Insalata di Cesare, Gamberi Gondola, Cream of Crab soup, for our appetizers. We shared the stuffed shells. The food was amazing we enjoyed EVERYTHING! For our drinks we ordered the limoncello martini and a glass rosé. Both were delicious. Nonna Angela's is a wonderful restaurant to grab a decent happy hour or a nice meal. We will be back for happy hour to try new bites.
