Naz's Halal Food never fails me. The service is top notch and I find myself coming back once or twice a month.

summary: it's decent; big portion sizes, but flavor is nothing crazyOrdered the food for pickup, so that might have contributed, but the food was slightly on the soggier side. Had to air fry them once we got home. The portion sizes were generous, but otherwise, the flavor was decent. Although, the fish in the fish and chips had a good flavor to it.The restaurant itself has a decent amount of seating too, but the service was kind of unenthusiastic. There were definitely some good notes, but there were some parts of the food that I felt could've been better as well

I placed an online pickup order for combo over rice and baklava cheesecake. The order was ready when I walked in for pickup. The gentleman there didn't greet me but was kind enough and acknowledged my presence and put together my order into a plastic bag. For the price, it was decent sized portion and also delicious. Definitely enough for two servings. The cheesecake was good too but I was expecting it to be more baklava-like. I would visit this place again for my halal fix.

Came here around 11:30 PM since everything apparently closes at 11 on Friday night. This place was busy! Really hit the spot for late night eats. The wait wasn't too long ~ maybe between 20-30 minutes? We ordered the chopped cheese, kofta wrap, corn nuggets and fries. The corn nuggets were perfectly crispy on the outside, corny on the inside. Kofta is on the spicy side, which we didn't know. Chopped cheese was greasy, cheesy, and delicious. This is a order at the counter, find your own table type of place. The guy taking orders was calm, friendly, and on top of it, especially with helping customers in person and on the phone. All the tables inside were taken, but the weather was fair so we sat outside on the patio tables.Definitely will come back if I'm looking for late night eats.

Tasty, inexpensive. Big portions, well-flavored, fresh flavors. And the big win- late hours! In the 'burbs where almost everything closes early even on weekends- having hot food late, that's NOT fast food, is huge. Even the bars close their kitchens early since the pandemic, so this place really stands out. After a half-dozen visits, I see the same faces regularly- nice staff. Despite some fumbling confused customers and occasional long lines, they're all still in a pleasant mood. Unexpected.Stick to the basics here, and (the big tip) get more than one sauce to amp up the flavor. It's about 2x the meat other places serve in a single gyro.It can be busy, and between big orders and people not ready to order, the ordering line can slow down. Consider ordering ahead.Other thoughts: this is a franchised concept, I haven't been to any other locations to compare. It's in the renovated Normandy shopping center which is now full of local & "ethnic" eateries. Lots of parking. Some outdoor seating. Clean interior with several 4-top tables.I think some reviewers might be expecting too much for an inexpensive casual counter service (and/or don't understand that "halal" is not the cuisine lol). And yes, the meat is cut from a rotisserie-style formed slab (same as gyros & schwarmas and al-pastors and so forth all over the world). It's cubed but that makes for a consistent & easy product. It's GOOD but it needs the sauce and seasoning to make it complete. And then it's wonderful.I'm probably too picky and experienced well beyond the point of jaded. And I really couldn't ask for more for $10, made hot & fresh at all hours. Happy to see them busy and hopefully they stay busy enough to stick around because there's literally nothing else like this anywhere nearby.Highly Recommended.

Added to my 'must-try' list when I saw an Instagram foodie posting reels of delicious looking, hearty plates- taking her recommendation, we ordered the combination lamb/chicken pita, kofta platter w.added falafel balls, & fire wings. Ordered to-go, parking was easy & the service was quick. Inside was clean, staff was welcoming, and order was well-bagged for travel. While the portions were hearty, the food was rather bland & disappointing, compared to the zesty bold seasoned Halal we are familiar with at other establishments, everything tasted very basic, requiring a smothering in sauce for any real flavor. The combination pita was stuffed with meat, but the meat tasted pre-cooked scooped out-not fresh, not juicy, and lacked any distinguishing flavor. The pita was also very soggy & cold- not buttery fluffy dense. The kofta platter was filled with plain, cold, clumped together rice, lacking any zest-the lettuce & tomatoes were wilted- the kofta had a strange taste. I'm used to a crumbly, rich flavored kofta, loaded with spices-resembling meatballs formed into oblong-crumbly shapes- but the kofta log at Naz's was very compacted together, 'gluey meat stick" like a generic meat patty- the falafel balls were even more of a let down. A $2 add-on, the balls were extremely tiny and way overcooked & dry. Very disappointing. The fire wings were covered in a thick breading, which took over the majority of the taste- barely any juicy chicken taste, as each bite was just saturated in sauce soggy breading-as for the 'fire' aspect, it may be just because my husband and I have a very high tolerance for hot sauce heat, but we felt while there was some spicy kick on the back end, they weren't very 'firey'.Overall, a very basic, below average meal- hearty portions but no flavor- would not pick them over other Halal establishments in the area.

I was getting my vehicle repaired across the street so walked on over to enjoy lunch here. The shopping center had been recently remodeled so everything is still pretty nice and new. It's located on the side closer to Rt 40 kinda of tucked away. Lot is large and plenty of shared parking. I noticed they are open at least until 2am so it's a great spot for late night meals when everything is closed. I ordered the lunch special for 9.99. Your have the option for lamb, chicken, or a combination of both over rice with a can of soda. I opted for the Lamb over rice. It was easy to place my order at the counter. I noticed they have an app so you can order through that as well. Food was ready within a few minutes. The lamb was nice and tender and I he rice wasn't too hard. It was more than enough food to fill me up. Such a great value for the price. From the menu it looks like other options are also a good value. You can securely count me as a fan.

The portions are very generous, but I'm not really sold on the quality of the food or the taste. The customer service is pretty ok, and the place is clean, but overall, I would say it's meh. It's not great, but it's not horrible.

Saw this place the other day and knew we had to try it asap! We got there shortly after they opened on a weekday and they already had four or five "to-go" orders waiting to be picked up. I guess the word is out!We had the chicken rice platter and the chicken/lamb rice platter. Both with hot sauce and white sauce. Extra sauce was offered and provided upon request. The taste was outstanding. Will definitely be back. Oh, they have indoor and outdoor seating. Beverages were canned sodas and Snapple teas.

Went on a super late night with friends and stayed until it closed. It was busy even at 1 a.m. stick to what you know and like because I'd never order any Mac and cheese bites - my friend did and didn't enjoy them.
