This Naval Bagels is a locally owned small shop near the academy off of Rt. 2 outside of Annapolis (a second location on Taylor Ave and a 3rd in Edgewater COMING SOON!). A fantastic option for all your bagels and breakfast needs and delicious in-house made cream cheese, busy peak hours are warranted! Outside tables albeit limited are available if you want to hang out and grub.Online ordering is available if you want to plan ahead. Be sure to check out their Facebook and Instagram pages for specials and new offerings!

I had my first experience with naval bagels on Friday August 2nd. I ordered the southerner bagel on an old bay bagel. They have ALPT of bagel options, pretty much anything you can think of. The southerner consists of bacon, egg and cheese. The bagel was very tasty, I think the only thing I would change is the type of bagel I chose, but the old bay bagel wasn't bad! I ordered ahead and it was ready when I picked it up. The staff were friendly. The location is small and more of a carry out spot. they also have bottled drinks available.I'll definitely order again and maybe try different.

After the A10 where does one find bagels? I ran past the one near Grauls by the Naval academy and thought to myself (on mile 8) that a bagel would hit the spot right after the run -- but alas we didnt want to go to the one right on the race course. This came up as an option and we decided this would be a great plan. We ended up driving to this one and thinking it would be a quick in and out -- well we were wrong. This is just as popular as I had assumed it would be and a great option if you happen to be in the area. Yes it was a bit slow but they are making your bagel sandwiches in the kitchen area behind the register and they are not a big operation. The bagels were nice (we got them untoasted because they were fresh), and we were able to pick the type of cheese that went on our bagel sandwich. They have a pretty small eat in area (possibly 3 seats on a high bar type and I think 2 small 4 top tables outside..)

Consistently good bagels. I especially like coming for breakfast. Try the egg and cheese in a toasted sesame seed bagel. Delicious!Their spreads are great too. My favorite is strawberry. It's nice and fluffy good.

Bottom Line: Filing bagel sandwiches and always a consistent experience. When I am looking for a hearty breakfast Naval Bagels is one of my go-to spots given its close proximity to my house. What I like about Naval Bagels is that they are super consistent with both providing excellent service and quickly preparing my meal. My go-to is the McNosh which has egg, mozzarella and ham on it. But as far as the bagel goes, I jump around depending on what Naval Bagels has at the time of my order. My husband's go-to is the savory Southerner with bacon, egg and cheese on a sweet cinnamon bagel which I find weird but he enjoys it. Naval Bagels is a small shop that is often flooded with people waiting for their orders. There are only a few high-top countertop spots to eat in so most people get it to go. As far as beverages go, they have coffee, a Coca-cola soda fountain and various bottled beverages.

This place is right off of a beautiful running/hiking path. The Sandwich I landed on was solid! I low key love bagels. They also had great things that were available to make delicious sandwiches. The bagel Sandwich was good it had lump crab meat and egg. The seasoning was old bay. If I got back I will most likely give this one another try. Service was fast and the young lady behind the counter was happy to answer my hubby questions .

Breakfast bagel sandwiches never disappoint. Stopped for breakfast after an early morning stand up paddle board excursion from Jonas Green Park. Got the Southerner on a toasted onion bagel and cold brew coffee. Brought home some doggy bagels as well. Fast service and two tables outside to enjoy.

Order a head of time for a quicker trip. This was our first time stopping so I didn't think about it at the time. Don't plan on eating there- not that I wouldn't, but I only noticed one small table. It's a typical bagel shop vibe. My husband said more than once how good their coffee (black) was. We both ordered a Bayhawk and they were delicious as well- like really really delicious. The bagels are soft even when toasted. ...and now we have to go back because I'm craving a bagel sandwich.

I stopped in to grab breakfast to go earlier this week. This was my first time visiting Naval bagels. I ordered the City Girl sandwich on a bagel and a Northerner on an everything bagel. The sandwiches weren't bad but they were packaged so poorly. When you put it down on something, the thin paper it is wrapped in leaks through. They could at least wrap it in a piece of foil to keep it secure. I ordered a bagel and cream cheese and another bagel to go. I also purchased a pound of plain cream cheese. After ordering and grabbing the cream cheese from the refrigerator I approached the counter with my credit card to pay. The lady told me that I can pay when the order was ready. I was the only one in the store so was unsure why she didn't just take my payment. I felt like I was in the scene from Meet the Parents where the airline lady told the guy, "Please step aside, Sir" as if there was a long line behind him. After awkwardly stepping away from the counter after my attempt to pay was denied, the lady called me back a minute and a half later to pay..All in all, the bagels were OK but definitely not the best compared to other places up the street.
