Namaste Foodie is a food stand within The Common Kitchen, an international food hall. The food hall and food stand itself is casual. This food stand features Desi Street Food. We ordered a Paneer Kathi roll and a Mutton Keema Pav. Both were good the Kathi roll reminded me of a tortilla wrap with blocked cheese, green peppers, onions, and sauce in it; mine had a bit of spice and it was great. It's also served with a handful of potato chips. The Mutton Keema Pav reminded me of a Sloppy Joe's sandwich, but with more spice and warm flavors. Food was great.Service was also nice. Depending on the type of food I was looking for, they made recommendations for me. They also finished making the food in about 12 minutes and brought our food to our table as the location wasn't too crowded when we went in the morning. They even checked in on us while we were there just to make sure we were satisfied!

I really wanted to like this place but it really missed the mark. My butter chicken bowl looked like a watery soup and had very tiny chopped up pieces of chicken (were they running out?). The amount of naan was the size of my small, petite hand and did not have the signature chew that other places have. It actually reminded of the naan you get packaged at Costco. The lady was very kind and told me their butter chicken isn't the kind you get at other places and to me it was quite sour. If you're used to big juicy chunks of chicken in a creamy, sweet thick flavored sauce, this isn't it. I actually took a few bites and threw most of it away. I took home just the chicken to not waste the $14.99. I got the samosa chat which was good. I should've looked up pictures before I ordered because the kathi rolls looks really good.

the short - to be completely honest, I was very underwhelmed by the sandwich that I ordered - the chicken junglee. I've had other menu items from here before - the koti rolls and some of the small plates and they've been pretty good, but the sandwich set it back a few stars for me personally.Details:Namaste Foodie is located within Clarksville Common, which is set up to feel kind of like street vendors fused with an element of suburbia. You order your food and then can take it to sit in one of the shared indoor/outdoor spaces. After you order your food, most of the experience is self-service (e.g. drinks).Namaste Foodie has a lot of good things going on, but I was pretty confused when I got the sandwich. It felt very plain and lackluster, contrary to some of their other menu items. None of the ingredients really "popped" in terms of quality or flavor and the sum of the parts fell kind of short.I would eat here again, but I would stick with something else next time.

Namaste was a surprise delight. The Bombay Sandwich didn't look like much, crammed into its too-small plastic container, but it really packed a punch. Complex, tasty, healthy, filling, and a decent value. A real winner.

I'm obsessed with this place. There are so many places in this food court that look good, but I always choose Namaste Foodie. I've tried most things on the menu and liked them all. My favorites have been the dahi puri, Bombay Bhel, samosa chaat, and the kathi rolls. Everything is made fresh, the yogurt and herbs add such a fresh brightness to the rest of the complex flavors. I always leave feeling happy and the food feels well balanced. I like the spice level of the food, but it might be a little spicy for some people. I've interacted with four people who work there, all of which were super nice. The older couple are super welcoming, kind and fun. It's located in a cool food court with lots of options. They have indoor and outdoor seating, live music on Fridays in the summer, and farmers markets on the weekends.

I had came upon this place as a meet-up for Miss Maryland local titleholders. When I saw this Indian restaurant, I was enthusiastic to try their pani-puri. Someone I know makes authentic and delicious pani-puri, so I wanted to check out how this place fares. The owners were nearby and were absolutely kind to me, making sure that I enjoyed the meal and even offering to carry the plate to my table since I was wearing ridiculously high heels.Customer Service - 5/5Pani Puri - 4/5 The aesthetic and plating were absolutely gorgeous, but, what was lacking for me was the mint sauce. I prefer a more mintier sauce with a spicy kick to it. The tamarind sauce, on the other hand, I could drink that by itself! Delicious.

I smelled delicious food and had to come order something from here. I haven't had dosa in a long time and as such, ordered the Masala Dosa. The meal was fairly fast to make. The presentation was simple but nice. The dosa itself wasn't bad, it was decent. But, I did find it very oily- this actually did upset my stomach within a few minutes. However, the potatoes were good, South Indian style and the coconut chutney was decent. I wish the dosa was crispy and crunchy as it wasn't at all. The owner was kind and I felt at home in an Indian household. Overall, I'd give this place another try for other Indian dishes. I just hope they don't add too much oil or butter in the future (side note: dosas I've had from other places have never messed up my stomach)

Got takeout for a few items. Here are my thoughts:- Chicken/paneer kathi roll: Not officially on the menu, but an exception was made to put both in. It was yummy. Flavorful, juicy, good sweetish side sauce. Would get again. Just for this, I'd give a 4 star rating. Everything else I tried so far was probably a 2-3, but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt for things I haven't tried yet.- Samosa: A little on the bland side? Felt it was meh.- Pani puri: Disclaimer - I hadn't had this before. Not a huge fan of the item as a whole, even eaten together. The mash was cold. I wonder if it would be better if it was warm.- Gulab jamun: Fine, but I usually prefer a little fluffier. Good in a pinch, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it here.If you're in a rush and there are any people in front of you, be aware there is usually one person working and you may be waiting a while. The owners/staff are really nice though!

Nice small india food outlet inside of a food joint, which includes host of other food outlets (Nepali, Mexican, etc.). We ordered pani puri and dahi puri. Both were decent. We felt quantity could have been more but the taste was decent. This is of course no match to street chat food in India but this comes 50% close to that, which is decent. They gave a free chai and the guy was super nice. He even brought the food to our table (that wasn't what other food joints were doing).Eating place outdoor is pretty good. They have some tables indoor as well.

Ordered onion dosa.... Filling was raw.! Maybe ok for some, but I scooped it out. Luckily also ordered masala dosa so shared potato filling. Would I go again? No as I like thin and crispy dosa's not thick. Service slow, ambiance was good.
