1/12/22We were made aware of this restaurant by a flyer of their menu that we received in the mail. There was also a coupon for $5 off of $25 or $10 off of $40.My husband placed a carryout order by phone for Chicken Tikka and Chicken Kabob to be picked up at 5:30. He called it in around 4:30. We specifically set the pick up time so that it would be ready when I was done with my nail appointment down the street. When I arrived, they apparently misunderstood and thought he wanted to place the order at 5:30. The staff member who may have been the owner apologized and said that it would take ten minutes. It was more like 20-25 minutes. Based on the orders I heard by phone and in person, all patrons were told their orders would take approximately 30 minutes to prepare. I don't know what the average wait time typically is, but it seems long to me.When I got home, my husband said that his order of Chicken Tikka was actually Chicken Botti. Although the order was wrong, he said it was decent. My Chicken Kabob, however, was horrible. Although I am generally sensitive to spices and seasoning, I have enjoyed Kabobs at other places. My husband generally likes Kabobs, but said it was not good and threw it away. He said Kabobs are typically on skewers and not ground meat. I had to heat up frozen food and wasted $12.99 on something I couldn't even eat.My husband said he would return to try the Chicken Tikka, but he's on his own. I won't be returning.

This new restaurant is in the same location that Paleti's Kitchen occupied. I started working in this shopping center and last week they changed the sign to Zaiqa Kitchen. Where the former business seems like they just did Indian food (this is based on their website, I never actually got the chance to go there), this new restaurant offers a few Indian dishes, Halal chicken and kebabs as well as American thing like fried chicken sandwiches and chicken wings. To test the waters, so to speak, I called in an order for the chicken botti over rice and was given a 15 minute time frame. When I arrived 15 minutes later, the order had been prepared and was waiting for me. I got the chicken botti with rice and they included a little container of a fantastic minty-herby green sauce for the chicken as well as a little side salad with romaine and chopped tomato, cucumber and red onion! This was a lot of food! Definitely enough for two, or leftovers for the next day.A coworker later went down and returned with samosas and chicken biryani so they possibly offer more selections than what they show on their website? Either way, I definitely will be ordering from here again and I suggest you do too!

Today I tried Zaiqa Kitchen for lunch in the Meadowridge Center. I've been eyeing it for a bit because I've been on a halal food kick the past couple of years, and I saw they did combo over rice platters (chicken and lamb (gyro)). So I went for one. I was amazed to find out that this place will be transitioning into a new name and restaurant serving middle eastern and Yemeni food soon. They said today was the first day they got the keys. I chatted with the owners for a bit and they are very nice. My combo was really good. The fries I got were tasty too. The rest of the menu looks really appealing as well. They'll still be serving Zaiqa's menu for a bit until they get the new menu sorted out. Pay them a visit some time! I'll definitely be going back.

There is no balance between the dishes. The Chicken Karahi had more oil than OPEC, and the kabob was so dry it crumbled at the touch. The combo platter had a few pieces of chicken and gyro, it was mostly lettuce and rice. Was looking for a new place... and this is definitely not it.

Pros: good portions, good sauce, reasonable pricesCons: chicken butter masala - the chicken was tough and dry (the sauce helped overcome this) , takes a long time from order to readiness (30-45 mins.)Naan was just average

First time trying this place and it was fantastic! I had lamb over rice and it was perfect. The Raita was amazing and the serving was more than I could eat. Great, basic fresh side salad as well. Very friendly service. I wish I lived closer so I could eat there more often, but I pass by frequently for work so I will definitely be back. P.S. They went under new ownership this week, so ignore the older reviews and give it a try!

The chicken and goat karahi are excellent. And so are the naans. I highly recommend those dishes. We also had philly cheesesteak, chicken burgers, burgers, kabobs in the past. Those are good as well.

I had their sandwich, but the buns tasted weird and the chicken tasted odd. The naan was okay, however.
