Took my parents & aunt here over the weekend, it was their first time and Afterwards they raved about it. Mucho Gusto service, ambiance, quality and portion of the food will never disappoint. I tried one of their mocktails on this visit. It was called a wannabe. The watermelon puree in the drink was not artificial. It was fresh & tasty. For an appetizer, I ordered guacamole for the table. We all agreed this was the best guacamole we ever had!! All the flavors shined bright! My aunt and I don't even like guacamole. We both throughly enjoyed it and had 3 or 4 scoops of it. I'm actually craving more right now. I also ordered some Elote to start. Mucho Gusto has a really good one. I love me some Elote. For my entree, I ordered Crab Enchiladas with Mexican rice. It was very good& the crab meat was plentiful. We were all stuffed in the end but couldn't leave without dessert. We split an order of churros. Could have been a tad softer but still tasty. Naya was an amazing server. I love the team work from the staff making sure everything ran smooth and food was delivered timely. I love how the lady that brought the guacamole to the table asked us to taste it before leaving making sure it was to our liking. Thank you Mucho Gusto for keeping your high standards. It's great to come back 7 months later and still receive amazing service.

This restaurant opened its Gambrills location Summer 2024, and it's definitely a vibe! We stopped by to celebrate National Margarita Day 2025. It was packed as seating times were a 45 -55 min wait. We grabbed a seat at the bar to take it all in. The male bartenders One of the best parts? The margarita experience! We got to pick our flavor, our tequila, and even our rim, making each drink perfectly customized. For food, we started with empanadas--crispy, flavorful, and a great way to kick things off. I also ordered the guacamole, which was prepared tableside. Major plus that you can add crab or shrimp! Plus, they customize the spice level to your preference, which made me a fan! For the main course, I went with the chicken and steak tacos, and they did not disappoint. The flavors were on point, and everything was fresh and well-seasoned.

Rumor has this place is "IT",Delicious food,Great atmosphere,Awesome SpecialsAND Live Music on Thursdays....Well some rumors are just that..Rumors.So here is the skinny...The place looks bigger from the outside, and that's just a thought. The restaurant looks nice, the service was decent and professional. Now...if you are into Mexican food the fact is there is no good Mexican food in Crofton, Gambrills or Bowie. The food her is barely average. Now if you were raised on bland food that looks pretty and lacks taste, this is the place for you. The queso, was below average in taste and the portion was small, it was small and bland enough for a baby that just started eating solid foods. The chimichanga which I added chicken to was me basically eating fried bread and rice, I counted 8 pieces of chicken...okay nine but it was as large as a pea.I can't judge the music because I wasn't there on a music night. But I can tell you this:The wait time to get seated...slow, and there were only two groups sitting down...what's the hold up?!?!The waitress was nice enough but that without good food ruined the experience. Also the food is over priced for what they offer.Oh one above average thing..the drinks were a B- or C+. Depends.Would I recommend this? Hmm, NO. I need Mucho Gusto to do better, por favor.

Newer spot in the back of the Crofton town center. I heard good things so i decided to try them for lunch. Bare with me with this reviFirst, it took awhile for our waiter to greet us and take our drink orders. However once she did, it was smooth sailing after that. I ordered the chicken enchiladas, it comes with rice and refried beans. My son order a kids chicken quesadilla which also comes with rice and beans (or fries or tater tots) and my friend got the beef nachos. Food was decentChips and salsa is NOT free, it does cost a small amount (less than $10). I don't think it was worth it but i wanted to try itParking is shared with other businesses so it can be difficult depending on the time of day Inside doesn't look like a "typical" Mexican restaurant. No booth seatingUltimately I probably won't return due to other restaurants being better

Soooooo good! Stopped here for lunch, and thank God it wasn't a wait due to the winter break. It's very cute inside, and it looks like on the side of the building, it would be perfect for outdoor seating when the weather breaks. Every dish we tried was delicious. * Taquitos - chicken inside, cooked crispy and had a good flavor with all the toppings. * Beef Empanadas- tastes like a cheeseburger lol it was soooo good and the chipotle sauce that came with was a perfect addition. * Boom Boom Shrimp - BOMB! Next I would ask for no pico on top; it took away from the taste of the shrimp. Overall the shrimp was sooo good * Tacos - Shrimp - definitely a favorite - Steak - one of my favorites - Al Pastor - something was missing I just couldn't figure out what it was - Grilled Chicken - one of my favorites - Carnitas - not a fan* Churr-eos - DELICIOUSJust know I'll be back, and trying a bunch of other dishes.

Mucho Gusto has potential but I'm not sold just yet. They have a massive offering of tequilas and mezcals which can be overwhelming just to choose a flight but that could also make you a repeat customer since it's more than likely not recommended to sample all at one time lol.None of the food I've tried makes me say I must come back for although there are many choices. I really wanted them to be authentic and a new favorite spot. I feel like they have potential and the serving staff were informative and courteous which will bring me back.

We had to ask twice to get silverware and a napkin. Very pricey but the food was excellent EXCEPT for the rice that was bland and had a hair in it. If you go I recommend the Birra tacos. They charge for chips and salsa but the chips were the best I've had.

I tried this spot, this past weekend randomly. Mainly because I was hungry and couldn't decide what I actually wanted to eat.Just FYI, it's hidden in the back of the "Waugh Chapel Shopping Center".The ambiance was cute and there is a guacamole station right in the corner. The place was jumping and we didn't even have to wait long to be seated which was a plus.We saw so many people with the burrito so we decided to give them a try along with the Birria Sliders and Guacamole. The sliders were meh, they lacked flavor. The meat needed to be marinated a little bit longer. The burrito was huge and tasty, I'm so glad I got It with the beans on the side though. And if you are a sour cream lover, you might as well ask for more when placing your order. Now the guacamole was my favorite item and It seemed like everyone else's as well. I like the fact that you can get It to whatever heat level you prefer (mild/medium/spicy). We got mild, but I'll come back and give the spicy a try. However the chips that were served with It, was overcooked and hard. Since it's actual tortillas, they have to find the right time to get the perfect chip. Our server was great, however I didn't like the fact that our food came before the guacamole. I wanted to try that first before actually eating my meal, but other than that, everything was cool.
