The food here is amazing! I highly recommend them if you're looking for good, quality Indian food.

I've been going here for years and the food has has been consistently good. We had been doing takeout during the pandemic so I forgot how even more delicious it is when you eat it fresh right in the restaurant. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My family loves it and Mount Everest will continue to be a go to restaurant for our household.

Just yes . Yes. - come here and experience the flavors they can provide. The other reviews noting the flavor do not lieService was a bit slow when I went however this is forgiven as they had a large 20+ party taking half the venue. If service speed is a concern - pick up and it'll be fine. Ambiance is a mix of fine(r) dining and for sake of continence. I love the Nepali / Indian decor and style from the walls down to the dishes used. The wipe away clean table cloth brings the overall ambiance a bit down but not a big deal!

Delicious and savory. The chicken korma is my favorite so far. They will adjust the spice levels to your liking, so there is something for everyone here. Don't forget to order garlic naan!

Mount Everest holds a special place in my heart.Almost 10 years ago, I met my boyfriend on a dating site. We had our first date at Mount Everest. Neither of us had ever tasted Indian food before this meal. We cannot remember what we ate, but we have spent our relationship trying all kinds of Indian restaurants to find our favorite one, and we always come back to Mount Everest. We celebrated our last anniversary there, this past February, introducing a friend to her first Indian food experience.Mount Everest isn't exactly conveniently located to Dundalk, so we plan on eating there whenever I have a doctor's appointment over in the White Marsh area. We stopped by for take-out after a particularly frustrating eye doctor's appointment, as a reward.We have a menu where we keep track of what we have previously ordered. Top rated: Chicken Korma ($14.99): Tender pieces of chicken cooked in a creamy sauce with cardamom, topped with dried fruits and nutsChicken Junelly ($13.99): Chicken cubes cooked with vegetable in Himalayan creamy sauceChicken Hyderabadi ($14.99): A classic hyderabadi style chicken cooked with coconut, curry leaves in a blend of herbs & spices.This time around we had:Pepper Chicken ($14.99): Chicken cooked with green peppers, cracked peppers & chili flakes in south Indian style. --- Good, but we wouldn't get it again.Lamb Chops ($28.99): Rack of lamb marinated in fresh ground spices & herbs, cooked in the tandoori oven. --- As with lamb chops, they're expensive and you always wish you got more. Tasty, but for the price we can get two different meals next time.The rice that comes with your meals is top notch. So fluffy and lovely, lightly seasoned. And it reheats well!We've tried at least 10+ other menu items, but I won't bore you with all that. Appetizers here can be pretty miss, and the naan is fine (though all of them taste the same, no matter what filling you order), and the mango lassi is delicious (and easy to make at home!). The restaurant is usually empty, but don't let that fool you about the quality of the food. Service is friendly, helpful, and prompt. After ten years of eating here, I whole-heartedly RECOMMEND.

~ Order Deliver service recently and wanted to try something new. Tried the Chicken tandoori (spicy) & the Chicken vindaloo (spicy). With the chicken tandoori, I was surprised they gave me that much chicken. I was able to save some for the next day. Good taste, just wish it was a little moister. Other than that ..! I'm cool with the results. I've ordered the chicken vindaloo from this place before. Which is the reason why I got it again.... As a backup. Just order extra potatoes, cause they are playing games trying to hide 5 lil potatoes in all that sauce. Garlic naan bread was cool. Of course, something like this is better if you eating it as soon as it's cooked. But, good meal. Solid place. 3.5 stars. I think I spent $40.00 or so. Hope you enjoy.. ~#TeamDiesel#TeamDiesel4Evaaa

Food is ok definitely looking for another Indian cuisine option. Food taste ok not that impressed, not sure if they changed management .

Is this place under new management or something. I ordered my usual "goat curry with garlic naan". This dish was missing soo much flavor. They shorted me on the Indian spice. The goat was so tough, I just kept chewing and chewing until I just spit it out. Fool me once! I will not waste my hard earned money again. I could've made this dish better myself.

We were finally able to visit Mt. Everest for the first time since COVID. UGH we missed them so much. We drive all the way from Baltimore city to indulge in our favorite Indian food. The service is always great and they took great precautions for COVID. Here are our favorite things:*Only one thing is an absolute must here - the Aloo Tikki Chat. Please, please do not start your meal without this.- Mango Lassi drink. Best we've had. Not too thick and not too sweet. Big recommend.The lamb Tikka masala (any Tikka masala really) is a staple for us. We like to get a dish of this and then explore something new for our second dish. We are never, ever disappointed! Check them out!

I hate to rate them so low, because the people are very friendly and sweet, but I should have realized when I walked in the door and NO customers were in the dining room that something was wrong. I did a carry out order of Saag Paneer. I ordered it medium spicy, and with extra paneer cubes. This additional cheese, I was told, would be $5.00 extra. That's a little expensive, but fine with me. The problem is that when I got it home, it didn't appear to have all that many paneer cubes in it. I actually had to hunt around for them! The cubes that _were_ present were small in size, like 1/2". So disappointing! To make things worse, the saag was pureed like baby food, making it very sloppy. I actually had to put it in a bowl to eat it, like soup!The taste itself was actually very good, so no complaints there, but when I order $5.00 extra paneer I expect it to be loaded with it, which it definitely was not. This, and the pureed texture, was a huge turn off. For these reasons, I won't be ordering from them again, I'm sad to say, because they were very nice people.
