Disclaimer: I thought this was a speakeasy... I was in correct. I believe this would be considered a "dive bar". You come here and you see what alcohol is there to drink, then you choose what you want. There is no drink menu. So I had a drink of bourbon. There is however a food menu. The food I would say would be the equivalent to lower-end bowling alley quality food. I did hear that this place has a bomb burger. I did t not get a chance to try it yet but I will get on that soon. Do not come here trying to impress your first date. Do come here if you want to see what the local scene is like . This place has been around since there were dirt roads. So there is a lot of history here. And make sure you look at the ceilings if you would like to see some real history. There are only bartenders and their service is pretty good. It's a very friendly spot, friendly not fancy. There are two big pool tables on the other side of the bar. Very clean tables and I appreciate that because I have seen some pool tables that should have crime scene tape around them( that how fifth it they were). Shot out to Rose she will make you a creative shot if you ask. I'll come back.

I'm down in Cantonsville visiting friends and it was time for day drinking. This dive is definitely the place to be! The day regulars are chummy and super friendly. The entry is a narrow driveway from the street and has private lot in the back so no need to pay for metered street parking. The bar is two large long rooms. One with the bar and the other is a pool room, karaoke bar, dance floor and DJ booth. A large outdoor patio with benches along the edge is out back for smokers if all types. From what they say, this place is absolutely packed on weekend nights and I can see why. amazing peeps and chill cool vibes. Wallflower? No problem feeling awkward, just take a self tour of the amazing memorabilia that covers walls from floor to ceiling. Amazing!!It's a dive so don't expect a bottle of Dom. But very refreshing to finish 3 beers for $20. As an added bonus I met the amazing David, chef at Cantonsville Gourmet and his partner Jessica. So passionate about food and cooking, not just about a business (which follows if you are passionate, and talented, and driven, and lucky, and ...)THIS SPOT IS WHERE THE LOCALS HANG. JOIN IN!!

They are still open. They have been around since 1911. When you look up the word dive bar in the dictionary a picture of Morsberger's should be in there. Small narrow and cramped with over a hundred years of memorabilia hanging on the walls. If you are looking for a fancy place to get a complicated drink this is not the place for you. However if you want a cheap drink and interesting sites you are in luck. There really in no sign visible if you are driving. I happed to be on a stroll and heard music coming from it so decided to check it out. The decor is eclectic with vintage album covers lining the ceiling, local sports memorabilia on the walls, and animal heads mounted throughput the place. The bar tender/owner this evening was a guy named Donnie. A friendly old guy more than happy to discuss the history of this family owned bar. I listening to him for a min while I drank two Miller lites. Very interesting. The chairs are worn the bar was as well. There is probably dust in here older than me lol. You can feel the history. Surprisingly they have a digital jukebox on the wall. If you need a late night liquor store run they can supply you with packaged goods here. They also have karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights. Very interesting place.

5/20/2021 - This Bar is DEF. OPEN!Walking by with a past and heard SugarHill Gang playing so we decided to come in.One side of the bar is pool tables and some games , large open space. The other side is the dive bar. Sort of tight, but lined up with refrigerated beer, old vinyl, trinkets and a lot of vintage items! The bartendar was super nice and chill. Seems like a dive bar for local, nice mixed crowd. So glad we stumbled upon this place, I will be back!Bartendar said karaoke should return on Fri and Sat. starting at 9PM.Happy hour on beer only from 3-6

Needs new management. So. This manager named George I believe closes the other side of the bar cause he doesn't like people playing pool. Pool is $1 game. I don't drink but I play a good game of pool. The bar manager who shuts the doors on the pool hall is only going to get me to go somewhere else. He first put up a sign saying we must buy drinks before playing pool and everyone playing pool had a beer in their hand. Lastly, the same manager who locked the doors on us pool players has the personality of a piece of wood. Can barely make eye contact and it say hello let alone smile which is apart of customer service. Maybe a job somewhere else might be more suitable. Other than this one individual everyone here is pretty nice, nice mix of people.

Yes, still open! Still a dive bar, with (mostly :-) great customers and great staff, pool tables, hot dogs during the day, and sometimes chips or free peanuts in-the-shell. Regular drinks and a wide selection of mostly regular beers. Also a package store. Smoking on the deck out back, not indoors. No karaoke yet. Excellent jukebox because it pulls from the internet. By the way, sometimes they do run the A/C, but it's never an icebox.
