Our very first visit here and I was impressed by the quality of the food. The service was a bit slow but I am sure that was because they were super busy. They had a pretty good live band playing and it was not super loud in the place.Their menu is pretty extensive and several positive comments were made about the cream of crab soup as well as their fish special. Portions are large and tasty. They have a full bar, unable to serve pretty much anything you asked for.We will definitely be coming back

Came to listen some live music and we were pleasantly surprised. Misti was our waitress and was amazing. She was very personable, funny, and quick to make sure our drinks were never empty. The food options were pretty expansive for a local bar and surprisingly delicious. I got the coconut shrimp and it was delicious. The fries that came with it were a little too soggy for my liking but that's a personal preference. Other people in our party got the bang bang shrimp, pot pie, cheese curds and cream of crab. Everyone loved what they got. It can be a little loud with the live music but that's to be expected in a bar. Definitely recommend checking out this spot.

Dive bar at its greatest! Are you looking for a casual setting with delicious food? Then Morgan inn may just be the place for you! The owner, Jill, and her staff are super friendly and professional! There is outdoor seating. They have 1 pool table and a jukebox. My favorite menu item is Jill's pot pie!! Jill has a great band line up every weekend. And there's also an open jam session every Sunday that is full of amazing local artists! The pricing is average.

I'm a classic Yelp user but not much of a giver. I use Yelp all the time but very rarely leave a review. Mostly because a majority of the restaurants I go to have solid reviews and end up delivering. That said, Morgan Inn hasn't had a review in a year and this is a location that I've been driving past for a year now but until today I've never been inside. So I'm a sucker for a good dive bar and this place does not disappoint. To date my absolutely favorite bar/restaurant is Michaels Pub in Columbia Maryland. It couldn't have been more of your classic "Cheers" setting. The bartenders knew your name, the beer was cold, and the bar food was spot on. Unfortunately, Michaels closed years back and I've been searching for this same "Cheers" type feel ever since. Morgan Inn might be the closest thing I've found since the days of Michaels Pub. Now I'll start by describing the vibe when you walking through the front doors. It's a classic U shaped bar with TV's, pool table, darts, high tops, and country music playing from the on demand jukebox. The bar could absolutely use a face lift but honestly I love a bar that shows it's age. If I wanted a stuffy, high end bar, that was going to drain my back account there are plenty of those around. This is a spot where the bar tender asked me my name when he came to the table and called me by name the rest of the time I was there. There were a number of locals you could easily identify as regulars and I love that. I want to be a regular, well maybe not every night regular. Then there's the things that compelled me to really write the review and that's the fact that they have food, and the food was decent. Walking in for the first time you might easily turn around and walk out (as i said it needs a face lift) but haven given it a chance the food was damn good. Now keep in mind it's bar food but not bar food you'd think was cooked in the microwave. I had the wings and loaded fries and they did not disappoint. There were several things in the menu I wanted to try but only more reason to come back. So if you're still reading this short essay known as a review I'd absolutely give this place a shot. Keep in mind it's not going to knock your socks decor wise but if you love dive bars, good people, good music and good food then this is your place. 10/10. The owner, Jill is exceptionally friendly. She greeted me with a smile and service was excellent. I ordered wings and nachos and had some beers for happy hour. The wings were among the best of Buffalo wings. No corners cut with real blue cheese dressing with chunks of real blue. Nacho cheese is homemade and toppings were generous. Solid beer selection. The details done well tells me a lot about what to expect for the rest of the menu. Pool tables, TVs, darts and live music on weekends.

I don't even know where to start! Me and my wife wanted to get away from our 1 bedroom studio apartment in new york city (where actual people live, not this barnyard you people call home). Anyways, we wanted to bring ourselves down to the "south" in maryland and morgan's inn drew us in....little did we know that we'd be served the carcass of a rat fried in old oil and nachos that tasted like an AI generated them. How did you manage to f*** up simple dishes. I went into the bathroom and had a breakdown to recover, not because of the food but because there's 2 urinals?!?!? what has america come to, why tf are toilets facing each other (intimate?). Do NOT come here with your wife, come here with your worst enemy and tell them to order any appetizer. Great music tho! they played creep by radiohead like i asked!!
