I ordered through DoorDash and I received my order in a decent amount of time. I ordered the Kabuki, Spicy California roll, and shrimp tempura roll. I tried the Spicy California roll first and was a little disappointed. The filling was a bit too warm for my liking. It's like the crab salad was not in a cold fridge so by the time it got to me it was already slightly warm. The shrimp tempura was good. Can't really go wrong with that. No real complaints. The Kabuki was just okay. The abundance of onion crunch kind of threw me off. But I liked it. Unfortunately, I was mostly full and could not eat all of it. I did put it in the fridge but day old sushi is never good because of the rice texture. I'm not in a rush to eat from here again, but try it for yourself!!!

I wanted to come back and update this review with good news. After my review the owner or an employee reached out and explained the quality issue with my eel and even apologized with a refund. I did not take the refund as I felt that was too kind of them and just appreciated them reaching out with such courtesy and kindness to solve the issue Sometimes it's just an issue with supplier, but their courtesy and effort to reach out was their shining star of service.They are very lovely and I appreciate the thought, research, and concern for my order

Ordered catering for 4. Paid a little short of $100 for a platter and WOW IT WAS BAD. I try to stay away from negative reviews, but this one was so so bad, especially for how much money we paid, that I need to post this review so the owners can read, and step up.They either prepared this platter for someone who ordered earlier in the day & never picked up.... Or something because sushi, sashimi, and rolls were all stone cold. To a point where rice felt like rocks, and it was brittle / falling off as we pick one up to eat. I'm sure that the platter was in the fridge for at least half a day. Not exaggerating, I thought their quality was a tad bit better than on-campus / 7Eleven sushi we used to eat back during college days. I absolutely did NOT expect this when I paid good money for catering!!! What was so surprising was that the pictures on yelp looked great! The platter looked fine when we picked it up! We couldn't tell until we had a bite :'(We usually cater from Sushi Farm @HMart, but decided to try something else because Moolkogi was about ~$10-15 cheaper. Oh man, a HUGE MISTAKE. We will never ever be ordering from Moolkogi again. Maybe their quality was better they first opened? I don't know... but take your money, go somewhere else.

A relative recommended this place raving about its sushi, so I went not expecting it to meet my standards. Located in Catonsville, this little sushi shop within H Mart (6600 Baltimore National Pike,) has the freshest, most delicate, best tasting and most excellently prepared dishes I have ever had in Maryland! The salmon is exquisite, and the sushi veggie fixins very fresh, crisp, exotic, and delectable! Equally as notable is the wonderful couple who own/work Moolkogi and are the most congenial, kind, welcoming people in the world, and their kindness seems very very authentic! Please try this place for yourself! I cannot say much about the market personnel, but I give this sushi shop that is within the market, but is a separate entity, FIVE STARS!!! Good eats!!!!

Formerly Rainbow Sushi, Moolkogi is a takeout only counter located in the back of the new(er) Lotte Supermarket off rt 40. They offer an impressive variety of sushi, including nigiri, sashimi and a laundry list of specialty maki. Pricing is also very reasonable, with typical roll prices ranging from $4-8. They also offer large format catering trays, with piece counts ranging from 30 to 80 for the largest of sushi eater gatherings. On our most recent visit, we had ordered their largest maki/sashimi/nigiri tray, the Large boat for a Holiday get together. We called the order in a few days before our desired pickup date. Unfortunately, the day of pickup our order had been overlooked and was not ready for our 3pm pickup time. Moolkogi realized their error and dropped everything to get our tray made on the spot. To my surprise, the order was ready in a little under 10 minutes! Mistakes happen, but what a restaurant does to remedy a situation is what can make them shine. On top of the quick turnaround, Moolkogi included a free order of octopus salad for our trouble. The sushi quality itself was excellent. Each piece was generous in size and fish. The rice on both the maki and nigiri was perfectly steamed and held their form. The presentation was also top tier, with each piece beautifully printed on each platter. Overall, if you are in the Catonsville area and need a quick sushi fix or a party platter to go, Moolkogi has you covered!

I love coming here for a quick bite! Sushi is my favorite type of food and this little stand inside Lotte makes great sushi for an EXTREMELY affordable price. The owner is also so kind and nice and sometimes will let you know what the best fish of the day is!

I thought this was such a great deal for the price! It was a good size for five people and came with variety. I would definitely do this again for a family dinner night in rather than going out. This place is inside Lotte near the back.

Awesome sushi, very friendly staff/owner and very good prices. Try the Moolkogi special roll. They're inside the lotte store so takeout only. You can call ahead and order off the menu, you don't have to get just what's available up front. Highly recommended!

We stopped here for a quick bite and it is the best hidden gem. The sushi is fantastic, the prices are phenomenal, but the people make the place! They have premade rolls and allow for custom orders as well. Highly recommend!
