Really loved the atmosphere here. The customer service they were very nice. Delicious bakery of Jamaican treats. They have a really cool lounge, to listen and chill to some reggae. The curry could have had more seasoning, of curry sauce. The oxtail were good. I would go again if in the area.

Dry baked chicken with sauce on it is not jerk chicken. I'm sorry I don't usually complain but I hate baked chicken so feel a way.

Review number #707Montego Bay never comes up with I asked family and friends on recommendations for the best Caribbean food in town. In fact, I've never heard of them until I searched Yelp. I gladly gave them a try.When I walked in I was the forth person in line. One person ordered Jerk chicken and a beef patty. One person ordered brown stewed chicken. One person ordered curry chicken. I asked all three people what their favorite dishes were. They all said their favorite dishes were the items they ordered. Since everyone ordered all my favorite Caribbean dishes, I decided to just take a gamble and go with Brown Stewed and a beef patty. The jerk chicken looked a bit too dry for me. The wait was short, less than 10 mins. I live about 15 minutes away. My beef patty didn't stand a chance. The food was piping hot through the bag. First bite (rice and chicken) I thought, ummm. Second bite, just chicken, I thought it's okay. I've had better. Way better. Flavors were lacking, not enough salt, the rice was pasty. Solid 3 stars. I do plan to return to try the curry chicken ... eventually

Delectable! This treasure is just 10 minutes from home and I never knew. I had a taste for curry chicken this afternoon, and this place definitely hit the spot. The line was long but service was quick and gentle. I ordered a small curry chicken with a beef patty and cocoa bread - it was plenty! The small serving is PLENTY - I ended up eating half of the curry platter and a little less than half of the cocoa bread and patty. It looks like they're extending the spot to include a lounge, so evidently business is booming. Check it out!

I love Montego Bay and used to tutor across the street. The scent of curry cooking in the morning brings back island memories to be sure.I could not be in the area and neglect to order jerk chicken. So, in spite of the fact we ordered two entire meals across the street (Jumping Out The Pot), we walked over and ordered cabbage and jerk chicken from here as well. One would think we had to slay dragons and walk through a desert to reach this restaurant again! The Jerk Chicken falls off the bone. Flavor is rich, deep and a tad spicy. It is the best jerk chicken I've had in the Baltimore. Bar NONE! The cabbage was as good as it always is. I'll be honest. I've been going here as long as they have been open and have never, ever, been disappointed. I love their food!

This place has never disappointed me. I'll even eat the soup during the summer. Delicious!

Rude. I would give zero stars if I could. I ordered through Uber eats for pick up. My order was never received. When they gave me my food it was wrong and missing items. No apology no anything. When I asked for my missing items I was met with an attitude. They do not have Pepsi on their online ordering platform but if you want to purchase it in person you cannot use your card unless you spend $10.

I really liked this place, i liked the friendly service and since i bought so much food they even threw in fried dumplings lol. What was ordered ok, here we go. Curry chicken -was very rich and delicious, brown stew chicken-crazy good, curry goat-fantastic tons of goat meat, the beef patties were different in a kinda good way not what i am used to usually. Ordered their bottle sorrel-very good, rock cake was delicious tho i believe it may have been a day old. Not enough to knock any stars off, now more reason not to even go the county anymore lol, moving on. With that being said, will i go there again, hell yes.

I ordered dinners for $42, but the order was incorrect, and the fish sauce was overly salty. Both my friend and I ended up with headaches after eating. I was really disappointed by this experience. After 2005 i would go to this location less and less and today has ended with this dissatisfied experience. Since 2005, I've been visiting this location less and less, and today's experience has left me completely dissatisfied. They are not health cautious.
