Mona's Gourmet Carry Out

Looking for a great place to get Korean and grill/bbq food in the area? Look no further than Mona's! They specialize in Korean food but also have other bbq food options. They recently renovated the restaurant, and it shows. It's clean, the menu is clearly and professionally outlined in the front facing the customers, and it looks great overall. I'm quite sure they eliminated their breakfast menu. I ordered the bulgogi with an egg a la mode and fries on the side. All were great; fries were pretty plain, but fulfilling. I didn't detect any weird taste other than fresh potatoes and salt. That's all you need!The bulgogi was FRESH, saucy, and tasted great. They now accept credit cards, which is an added bonus. And the shop is owned and run by an adorable and hospitable Korean lady. Can't recommend this diamond in the rough enough.

Mona's has been a staple in the Fort Meade area for YEARS!! If is most certainly a local favorite. If you're from this area, then you've either eaten here or know all about it. Glad to see that after a venue move and years of operation, the food is still amazing! My go-to is the beef bulgogi, which I ordered most recently. The beef was very tender and flavored generously. The first bite took me right back to my teenage years, when I used to patronize the business literally once a week when I was taking a break from my job at Progressive Motions Hair Studio. The service is still A1, the owners are very nice and personable. The inside is laid out the same as every other carry-out in Maryland. Comfortable enough to enjoy your meal, but nothing to write home about. I really hope that Mona continues to stand the test of time!

Food is always great! Both the Korean and American menu are delicious. Renovated last week so much brighter.

About a 2-2.5: Mona's Gourmet Carry Out seems to be a local favorite for Korean and your typical deli eats. They also have various specials and half portions as well.We came here for an early lunch and ordered:+a Royal Cheese Steak - with no green peppers and mushrooms; opted for the provolone, onions, and mayo; this came with a side of fries; someone noted that this was one of the best cheesesteaks in the state; honestly, it was just 'okay' and comparable to any other delis; the bread could have been better; the best part were the fresh-out-of-the-fryer crinkle cut fries+a Beef Bulgogi - half portion special - this came with a bowl of white rice and a little cup of kimchi; we didn't know that fried rice or brown rice was an option; the bulgogi was not savory enough and was more on the bland side; the kimchi had an off-putting smell and was way past the 'ripened' stage; I was surprised that the fried dumplings weren't included, as others have had it as part of their combo+Yookgaejang - spicy soup with veggies, vermicelli noodles, and shredded beef; I thought the broth was lacking, but it definitely had a kick to itService was friendly, and there were seating inside. Mona's Gourmet is a heart-warming community feeding establishment. Their Korean cuisine is impeccable. They're always personable and kind to everyone that comes in. I have had the Beef Bulgogi with white rice. My all time favorite is definitely the Galbi with white rice and kimchi.

Hole-in-the-wall but the food here is legit and they have old-school sodas that are hard to find. There's a line but it's decent. It's cash only and they have an ATM on site. We came in a party of 3 and ordered the hot-stone bibimbaps and the fried rice with cheese steak and they were all super fresh and deliciously authentic.

I read the reviews and decided to stop in. It was good. Honestly I've had better cheesesteak and fried rice. The mandu was good as well. With that said I will recommend and go back

They accept credit cards now! Food is always consistent with taste. Location looks like a carry out spot they have seating if you want to stay.

8/10. Really good spot but the hours are kinda wack. Get the nice food though please it's good
