Molly's Restaurant

This place has a very nice inside. The atmosphere and decor is on point. They lacked background music for majority of our meal and then all of a sudden music turned on. The service was ok. The server was a bit rude imo whether she meant to or not. Not everyone has been there before and if your menu has a typo or a legit question about what I can get on my sandwich, don't act like I'm stupid. And, she said you can get anything on your sandwich, so I ordered sweet peppers...Well turns out they don't have that. So, when someone asks what you can get on a sandwich don't make them feel stupid and then not have what you offered. Ok rant over. Anyway food was all right.

I ordered a chicken salad sandwich on whole wheat bread beccause I liked the description of it on the menu. Since it was priced at $14 I figured it would be really good. The server told me a side came with it -- I should have looked to be sure-- but I took her word and ordered sweet potato fries. My sandwich came with a small amount of very tough chicken-- nothing else but a little mayo--on white toast and a luke warm fries. I was charged $3 for the fries I was told came with the sandwich. My first and last visit.

Was visiting my son at college and took him here for breakfast on our way out of town. Cute restaurant with good food and service. Fully staffed with attentive servers. We all had omelets, which were delicious. Recommend!

So I've seen multiple posts with pictures of Molly's Restaurant. Everything looks so good. States using locally sourced produce and meats. Stopped in for dinner on our way home from Chestertown tonight. This place is nothing more than a diner. And not in a good way. My salad was warm and wilted. My crispy fries were cool and limp. Braden's Mac and cheese was very light on the cheese though he said the salmon was good.Asked to see the chef and a woman, guess to be in her twenties, if that, came out. Oh lord, those ads sure fooled me. Thought this was a legit local gem.Don't expect a return visit.

What a find! I woofed the burger down before even thinking of a picture omg it was so good. Chesapeake Burger: Crab dip, bacon, provalone cheese, lettuce tomato and onion on a bricohe roll!! Yesss!! I wanted 2 it was so leg tapping good. I implore you to just gaze at the Menu. They have 1/2 off specials that you will certainly want to be a part of. Today was 1/2 off the Mac & Cheeses but, I want to say Monday was 1/2 off burgers. I was in meat heaven so i was passive in what I remember the waitress saying. Such nice staff too, very polite and happy. They have a Bar if you are looking for a drink or 3. Outdoor seating on the covered patio is available as well. Plenty of parking as Molly's is attached to Sporting store that you'll enjoy walking through, maybe before you eat, or after to work everything off. . I look forward to coming back and checking off much more on their menu.

We chose Molly's Restaurant to stop at on our way to our AirBnB at Betterton Beach. We were very hopeful since the reviews were mostly good. We were highly disappointed. The hostesses were not friendly (at time immature and not knowledge of the products their restaurant sells), our waitress was okay and polite but not overly attentive (when we first got there there was only 1 other table filled). I ordered a burger and requested to be well done (the waitress asked how I wanted it cooked). When it came out the outside was well done...but the inside was RAW. Like right from the package raw. I sent in back and they simply threw my burger back on the grill. So when it returned to the table the crab dip and cheese that was on it were mostly melted off. The taste was okay. My husband got the fried oyster platter, it was Okay but for a Maryland/so close to the Chesapeake restaurant we were severely let down for the quality of the seafood. We won't be back.

My wife and I both ordered the meatloaf dinner. It sucked...We waited nearly a half hour for it and when it came out, I wouldn't have feed it to my dog. Last time eating at Molly's for us.

Ordered Shepards Pie. Serving size was childs. Im a grown man...Was in a shallow cereal bowl snd only filled half the bowl to one side, like it was missing the other half. Told server was good but wish I had more of it as serving was small. He agreed it was small and did nothing about it. Thank god wife shared her burger. That was twice the meal of mine if that says anything. Maybe new mgmt and cutting costs.

I have had some horrendous dinning experiences in my life and this was by FAR the WORST. We came to Mollys for breakfast around 10am, had a 30 minute wait, no prob. Got seated, immediately ordered two coffees and our breakfast. We proceeded to sit there for 20 minutes with absolutely NOTHING. Finally the coffee came out and we sat there for another 30 minutes with no food. Finally someone (not our server) came by to tell us the kitchen had lost our ticket but it is getting done now. Another 5 minutes pass and our server comes to tell us that they ran out of the meal I had ordered (now approximately 50 minutes ago? ) and do I want something else? I said fine and ordered the breakfast that came with 2 eggs French toast sausage and home fries. Waited another 10 minutes, got the food and I had a literal teaspoon of home fries. We get our check and they didn't comp ANYTHING. At this point you know we have been sitting here for two hours unhappy and you can't even offer to take of the $6 of coffee we sat and drank waiting for food for over an hour and half? We will NEVER be back. Absolutely ridiculous way to run a business. What a shame.

Food is horrible! It's bad when spent $120 and everyone leave their food. I couldn't even eat the burger, the crap on it was horrible taste I removed the nasty thing on it and still I couldn't eat the food. The service none of the people inside had one smile. Our server was ok but the 75% good.
