Miss Erica's Kitchen

Miss Erica's Kitchen is me & my Wife's favorite little local black owned establishment. Miss Erica is so nice, whenever we call in our breakfast order: The Miss Erica Slam(Wife) & the Fish & Grits(me) she knows exactly who we are. I now tell her: it's your favorite couple. Lol. The establishment is on the smaller side so I never see anyone eating inside, it's more of a carry out feel although there is a table & space in the restaurant for more if they choose to do so. That said, what they lack in space, they make up in deliciousness.I've tried a few things: 1.) Fish & Grits is my breakfast favorite & that sauce on top of the fish is top tier.2.) Lamb chops? Fire. 3.) Cheesesteak & fries? Delicious. 4.) Fried Porkchops? Some of the best I've EVER had. 5.) Miss Erica's slam should have a picture of my wife next to it on the menu bc she loves it. 6.) Chopped Fish sub? Chef's kiss. Erica thanked us once for frequenting so much, commenting that as a business owner in the food energy, she never knows how people truly feel about her style of cooking. If you're reading this, Erica, your cooking is filled with so much soul, from the way you season to the freshness and you should never question how delicious it is, bc honestly, it's better than a lot of the bigger establishments if not all of them. We'll definitely keep coming back.

I ordered the lamb chops for lunch having having the shrimp and grits for breakfast on Uber eats. The food is so good. I also ordered the crunch cake and the lemon pound cake. Not to mention miss Erika was there cooking herself and so sweet and pleasant. I told her i wanted to come in for the turkey wigs she said she would make them on Wednesday. As i told her i was visiting. Definitely worth the money. * i watched her put my lamp chops in the grill food made fresh to order.

The food was excellent. I ordered a chicken cheese steak with fried onions, tomatoes, mayo, mustard, and ketchup. And also a side of fries with salt and pepper seasoned. Everything was delicious!! I will definitely be ordering from her again!! My son ate half of my sub, and he is super picky. He asked me to order him one next time I definitely will!!

We love Miss Erica's Kitchen. Breakfast served all day. Lunch is really good and Dinner options really delicious. Miss Erica customer service is amazing. Restaurant sometimes have great music playing depend on the day.

Mid day lunch. Arrived around 1 we both ordered salmon burgers and fries. I had a side of greens--minus 1 star because greens were full of stems. I also ordered the $6 hyped up banana pudding cup which was about 1/2 cup total and much was left to be desired. It certainly wasn't flavorful. It's ok the salmon burger was amazing and so was the half and half. I'll come back and try more food hoping to update the review. The service was A+ friendly staff. It was weird because they had a table but we were told we couldn't dine in...hmmm? I'm sitting here looking at a table with chairs but we can't sit and eat our food had to eat in the car because we don't live close by. Best wishes to your establishment

Found this place on Yelp and it did NOT disappoint. We were able to eat inside because we were the only customers at the time and I'm so glad we were. This food was good!!! I don't even like gravy on my food but I tasted a piece of my friend's food and had to smack my lips. The tea was church function- IYKYK! I'm no Keith Lee but the line needs to be around the corner. It's a small, woman owned business and she is doing it up big! 10 out of 10!

i mean not too bad but like my macaroni was watery i'm not sure why they say my collard greens are cooked with meat i swear to you not no meat just unflavored greens then a friend ordered pot roast and it was not pot roast at all just beef on a platter no carrots no potatoes just beef like there definitely missing ingredients and seasoning this is not soulfood or atleast good soulfood in my opinion #respectfullyhonest

Ordered The Sweet Potato Fries and Crabcake Special . To My Finding There Was A Kibble Of Dog Food In My Crabcake. Was Pleased With My Food Until I Bit Down Onto It, Took It Out Of My Mouth And Looked At It, I Was Truly Disgusted And Sick To My Stomach. I Will Not Be Ordering Or Eating From There Again Unfortunately.
