We discovered Milano pizza when we moved into the Arden community.We opted for carry out, but they do deliver within our community. As one of the first impressions of our new neighborhood, I was very pleased. The owner was incredibly friendly and even carried my pizzas to my car for me. The pizza is comparable to the average delivery pizza, however, I would say it is best when eaten fresh after pick up. It was OK the following day, but definitely not one of my favorite leftover pizzas. That being said, we have also gotten their subs and my husband has had their fried chicken and he loved it. Their portions for other items on their menu were large and provided leftovers. Next time you are next-door picking up a six pack, considered getting a pizza from Milano to go with it!

In our neighborhood, there really isn't much to choose from if you want something without having to drive into town. Milano's is really the only option, actually. Is it the best in the word? The best I've ever had? No, probably not...But it's pretty good. Comfort food that hits the spot when you don't want to cook. When the kids are demanding dinner, but you want to phone it in.We tend to get subs and pizza, and we're not disappointed. We also get desserts, my kids love splitting a slice of chocolate cake.They're also super friendly. The first day we moved in we stopped in here, it was just me and the kids, and they chatted and kept my children busy while the food was being made which I appreciated. After days of traveling and being whisked around, the kids enjoyed a moment of being the center of attention.

Pizza is hot fast fresh and the service is friendly. I like to add my own fresh toppings so I can't comment on theirs. But add your own garden fresh toppings and some microbrew from Waterbury lliquors then call me and I'll be right over.

Update: after 6 calls and lots of fighting we finally got our order delivered and it was delicious and hot. I'm just upset with the driver for obviously lying about the original delivery. Original: They stole from us. $53 we never received our pizza and they refused to refund us. He claimed to take a picture but then could not deliver it to us. They claimed to call us but I never received any calls. I am fairly certain that they left it at the wrong house!!!! They refuse to do anything about it though or send me a picture of my house so I can prove they sent it to the wrong.

They make about the best pepperoni pizza in the area and I've tried them all. Even when it gets cold, just pop it in the oven for a couple minutes on broil and it's like it was just made. They're very friendly and positive there. There is definitely a language barrier but in a couple years, they've only made one mistake on an order I placed for pickup. My only complaint is that the billed price (including tax) is commonly higher than expected by several dollars. I've noticed the cashier will ask if you want a receipt but will not give you the itemized copy (which would show there the extra money went". They only give you the total. But their crab cake sub, their pizza and cheese steaks are awesome.

When you are here you are family! You won't find another restaurant in the area that will offer such kind, caring and compassionate hospitality! We've been visiting this family owned pizzeria for 6 years and it's never disappointed! The subs, pizza, wings and dessert oh my... dessert is amazing. The portions are generous and the food is authentic. Love this establishment and all the heart and soul they put into making everything a great experience.

I REALLY want to like this place. I REALLY do. It is so close to my house and always fast plus there's only 2 places that deliver to me. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I order from here they mess it up. They don't read the notes/instructions and they half ass the order. It really is a shame, the staff is nice and I like THEM I just hate their lack of attention to detail. I am now ONLY going to order from the 1 other place that delivers to me which is the constantly getting worse and far overpriced Papa Johns. At least they get the orders straight which I guess makes up for paying more. Such a shame.
