If your smoke some good shisha you must try this place. On Friday and Saturday they have a dj who is very talented and entertains the crowd with diverse music.

I'd first like to say my boyfriend and I have been going to MK for YEARS, before the new paint, before the DJ Booth and before they opened the new MK on Charles Street. That used to be our lil hangout. So my review of the 'new and improved' MK may be a little slighted. Okay one, the location of the lounge is pretty nice, off in the cut of Woodlawn and in the corner of a Shopping center. When MK is opened, the only traffic in that shopping center is for Pejus, MK, and maybe a few eateries. There is a HUGE parking lot so parking is never a issue. The line gets long at times, especially since MK is not that big. Bring your ID, they will ask and frisk. The admit price is a little high (compared to what it was a yr ago). Once you get in, there are couches against the walls, tables, and little stools/ chairs closest to the walkway. The music is hiphop/rap exclusively on the Fri/Sat/Holiday nights and really loud. Hookah: The hookahs are large and you can ask for extra hoses (depending on the size of your group plus a extra charge) They don't mind putting ice in the bowl if you ask. The flavors are star buzz and Al Fahkar - both give a full smoke and nice flavor. (I personally recommend Star-buzz - it seems to last a little longer). MY ONLY ISSUE with the Shisha is that some of the back staff don't pack the top bowl where the shisha doesn't get stuck to the foil which will give you a burnt taste after a few pulls. So if you are a hookah smoker - there may need to be a few adjustments during your visit. Drinks: BYOB!!!! I dont really like the {new} system. They check your bottle at the door, put a tag on it basically connecting it to your party, and they take the drink to the 'bar'. Every time you want a drink, you have to go ::let them pour YOUR drink FOR YOU::. Please be reminded, in the state of MD, you cant 'serve' alcohol after 2. Sooooo MAKE SURE YOUR BOTTLE IS GONE BEFORE TWO! After warnings, they will trash it, and NO you can not bring it out...Ultimately its a nice spot to hang on a weekend where you dont feel like going downtown, Pejus or the Windsor. ***NOTE: You CAN go to Pejus and order a hookah in there from MK (Dont let them tell you - you can't, I've done it.)

Great staff and flavors. If you are looking for a chill spot to smoke in Baltimore County, this is the spot. BYOB for 21+ groups and you can also bring in food as well.

This is my first experience at a hookah bar, but I know this was not the best. This place is located at a strip mall next to Pejus Lounge. The music was bumpin and you can see there was a line forming to get in at 1am. This place is open til 3 for that after clubbing puff. My friend paid my way in so I am unsure what the cover charge was, but it included our order of watermelon flavored tobacco. Music was pretty good as a dj spun, but he train wrecked a few songs in his set. The seating on one side has couches which looked more comfortable then the regular chairs we were sat at. Service was really good, as they checked up on us frequently to make sure everything was good. Security was on point as they kicked out a belligerent group out the door with a quickness! So if you decide to hang out in this side of town, this is a decent after party spot, especially if you jut walked out of Pejus and want to continue the night of debauchery.

I've been to Pejus, which is a club next to MK, and it always seems that MK is poppin! So when my friend and I wanted to do hookah, we decided to give this place a try. We went on a Friday night. It was $30 for unlimited hookah and a free chaser or $12 for one hookah and $12 per refill. We decided to do the $30 deal and it was the best choice. We got there around 11pm, which was a perfect time to get a couch instead of the forum chairs in the back of the lounge. This is NOT a posh place. The couches are extremely basic and the venue is pretty basic...but it works. The music is comparable to a hip-hop club.... I enjoyed it thoroughly. Though they mostly played rap/hip-hop, the atmosphere was still very chill. There were a couple of ladies who were of the ratchet origin, that got wasted and decided to dance, however, there is no dance floor, LOL. It was cool though because people watching at this place is awesome! All kinds of people roll through. The service was good...about 5 minutes after we sat down, there was a hookah waiter to take our order and they came to check our embers throughout the night. Overall it was a really good night! I recommend going a little early if Friday or Saturday night to ensure you get a couch and not those uncomfrotable chairs and it's BYOB, so bring your own drinks!!!

They are never here. I want to rate this place better because the staff are great and the hookah is always packed well. Twice within the past week I came between 2:45-3:30 pm and although they were open, the place was locked and closed. Wasted my time to come here only to find everything locked up. I'm super unimpressed and unsatisfied. If you open at 2, then SHOW UP AT 2. Or change your hours. Don't know if I will try coming again. Disappointed.

BYOB is a plus for me, not having to spend too much $ on drinks. They just redid the interior. $20 cover fee, which I really don't mind because there is always good music and sports playing on flat screens and a projector. The staff run around like crazy making sure everyone get what they want. I always go because it is a reliable place to have a good time. Most who come here offer drinks to people if they run out and is friendly and positive .
