This is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. I stopped in and ordered a large Cadillac Margarita, which features a tangy mix of tequila and sour mix, with a sidecar of Grand Marnier. The drink is a perfect balance of strong, sweet, and salty flavors--definitely a treat for the taste buds.One of the highlights is the complimentary chips and salsa served when you first arrive. The chips are freshly made, crisp, and warm, paired perfectly with their vibrant, flavorful salsa. It's a simple touch that sets the tone for an excellent dining experience.I decided to go with the Gordo's Burrito, a 12-inch flour tortilla packed with grilled chicken or steak, rice, black beans, lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, and pico de gallo. The burrito is smothered in melted cheese, and every bite is bursting with flavor. It's hearty, satisfying, and absolutely delicious--definitely a must-try.

Mexico Restaurant was a good recommendation in the Waldorf area. It's fairly big and was busy on a Saturday afternoon. I really enjoyed my meal. Service, however, was lackluster. Very, very slow and forgetful. If it wasn't for the fact that my food was enjoyable, the service would give me pause and I probably wouldn't return.I had a strawberry margarita, which was huge and strong. I liked it. I ordered the vegetable fajitas, which is a standard order for me at this type of Mexican restaurant. I was able to get two meals out of it, and am always a fan when that happens. I loved that they do not skimp on the vegetables. It was very flavorful. I enjoyed the chips and salsa too. My companions, who visit often, enjoyed their meals, and my boyfriend got two meals out of his burrito as well.Since I did like the food so much, I'd return, and hope for much improved service.

I've been coming to Mexico for years and I'm house now doing review. Each time I visit Mexico it's a different experience. The customer service is always amazing. The food is out of this world. The drinks and happy hour specials keep calling me. Mexico has an extensive menu so you'll definitely keep going back to try different dishes. My favorites are the fajitas and chimichangas. The mango habanero wings for an appetizer are always my go to if I don't order the delicious table side guac Check it out for yourself #EatGoodAndBeHappy

My sister,nephew and I stopped by here for lunch since my dad was admitted to the hospital near by and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. My nephew got steak tacos which he liked. My sister got a chicken quesadilla meal. She said the chicken on the quesadilla was tender and flavorful and the rice and refried beans that came with it were seasoned well. I got a steak quesadilla which was good but the star was my add on A la carte shrimp taco. The shrimp was DELICIOUS! Hands down, it was the best seasoned and grilled shrimp I've ever had in my life! My sister tasted it also and was blown away. I ordered a Moscow mule and it came in the cutest little pot.Our server was also very good and checked on us multiple times. I deducted a star because there were 2 pesky flies that kept pestering us and we weren't even near the door.

I returned to this restaurant after six years, excited to try it again. The tilapia and crab with cheese sauce and rice was disappointing. Instead of one fish cut in half. It tasted frozen, along with the crab. There was no sauce cheese sauce. The rice was plain with canned vegetables and no flavor. Now the four street tacos with flour tortillas, various meats with mexican rice and beans were outstanding, plentiful, and full of flavor. I'll definitely reorder those, but not the tilapia and crab. Now the tacos are three stars.

This restaurant is located right outside of Waldorf. It is bigger than expected and the service was great. The food was . Maybe I picked the wrong item, but it wasn't seasoned well and he taco salad was very small! Hubby fajitas was also not flavorful. We visited this place based on the recommendations of others, but I'm not sold to visit again.

My friend and his wife rave about Mexico restaurant. I've been wanting to go for years actually (wife not so much). Not really knowing what to get, we went for a standard taco salads for lunch. Hard to mess up. It wasn't very busy, It was 2:30 and there were just about 8 couples in the restaurant and a few more in the bar area.Our server was nice enough and very pleasant. We ordered Diet Cokes ($3) and a young man brought out some chips and salsa. I asked for another bowl of salsa that never came.The taco salads came out and they were very hot. Great start. When I started digging in, I couldn't hide my displeasure and I looked at my wife and she had the same look on her face. We couldn't believe the lack of substance in the taco salad. Mostly lettuce and some chicken. The tomatoes were sparse and unseasoned. There were no refried beans, no sour cream, no guac, little to no cheese; just lettuce, grilled chicken and very little else. Come on guys. You can do better. Take a ride to Salsas in Leonardtown if you want good food at a good price. You won't be disappointed.
