Food was very good. Prompt service. Very nice on the phone and in person when I arrived.

It's really crazy how reviews can be so far apart. I definitely thought a 4 star rating couldn't be that bad. Wrong. This restaurant only sold Chinese food (meaning no wings and mambo sauce). Again, I was fooled. 1. Spring rolls: crispy but the filling was minimal with no flavor. 2. Shrimp egg foo young: cakes are mixed with the sauce so it's difficult to count how many in the order. Taste was just ok. 3. Beef with mixed vegetables: standard nothing special or bad. 4. General Tso's chicken: one of the worst I've had. The chicken was over cooked (or old chicken cooked again) and super chewy. 5. Rice: you can't mess this up, right? Well the rice was fine but I guess this restaurant is on a mission to control your carb intake. I've never seen rice given in the extra small carryout box. Maybe this is just a cost savings. Overall, this restaurant is so bad, I had to come out of retirement to write this review. I just don't want anyone else to suffer the way I did. Unfortunately, live in DC and didn't want to trek back to Sandy Spring for a refund. Stay away from this place.

First time trying this place. We had lunch here and we liked it. Generally Chinese take-out is mostly all the same with slight variations. I had the General Tso chicken and the sauce was good. It lacked spice as far as heat goes, which was disappointing, but that's how most places do it these days.The fried rice that came with the meal was better than many other places I've eaten. It had a nice flavor and it was more than just rice mixed in a wok.Prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. These take-out places tend to be personal preference. It's worth trying and decide for yourself if you like their food. We enjoyed our lunch and will return.

First time trying this place-I ordered their wings/fried rice meal. The chicken was perfectly fried and rice was well seasoned. I would have loved if they carried mambo sauce...that would have been delicious!

im so pissed i feel robbed,so i order 6 wing with fried rice,and you know what i get 3 full wings and three part of the wings,and there excuse was that,thats the way they serve their wings which means they been ripping ppl off for 30 yrs,not only did i pay close to 30$ but i got 3 whole wings and three part wings for almost 30$ trust me youll dont order wings from this place unless you like getting ripped off,as a matter of fact they lost my business for good never again

Very friendly service. Food fresh and hot, not greasy. Have tried the egg rolls, lo mein, gen tso's chicken. Mom likes the walnut shrimp. Wonton soup also delicious! Will be back

Overpriced, small portions, nasty food, rice literally taste like it was made on a dirty grill which explains the roach I saw on the counter after I already paid! Literally any hood carry out would be better. Save your time and just go somewhere else.

Best Chinese food around! I personally love their House Noodles and Singapore Noodles. The egg rolls are perfect - I love this place. I've had them cater some of my parties and the food always gets rave reviews!AR

35 years in business means you're doing something right. This is some of the best Chinese I've ever had. The best thing about this place is the uniqueness of flavor. Most Chinese carryouts taste the same. However here, the Sesame chicken and Kung Pao chicken is unmatched. You won't find a better flavor profile anywhere else.

We have ordered takeout from here on several occasions, and have been entirely satisfied following each visit. Portion size, quality, and taste are always appealing and satisfying, and the service is always friendly and reliable. (Roast pork with Mixed Vegetables has become a favorite selection.) We look forward to continuing to patronize this establishment as soon as possible and wish them all continued success!
