Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction: these guys love what they do and it shows.I've picked up the Friday special many a time, but I've also picked up catering trays--they never disappoint.Don't be shy: go in the tent, get some beef on a Kaiser roll, and have a seat at the picnic tables behind the bar. Yeah, this place looks like a shady biker bar but the side hustle, Meatman Pit Beef Stand, is outstanding!I have eyeballed this place many times on our way by. This weekend we had some unexpected time in Middle River and decided to check out this place,First, the menu is great! The husband got the Meatman sandwich which is 3 meats on one roll. I had the pit ham sandwich. We also got a side of cole slaw to offset the meat factor. Everything we ate (and we ate it all) was delicious! The cole slaw was especially perfect in every way-- cold, not too wet, and a perfect balance of flavors. The pit meat was also just great.We didn't have to wait long to place our order and it was ready in just a few minutes. We ate at one of the picnic tables on the premises. They offer hand sanitizer, a trashcan, and plenty of napkins.Thanks, Meatman, for not disappointing!

Happened to be in the area one day, and hadn't eaten.The pit master suggested the Hot Beef Platter (layered, slices of pit beef paired among hand cut French fries and complimented with a lip-smacking gravy that would easily require GrandDad to loosen his belt while dutifully nestling in his easy chair after eating).Good stuff! and they cater :)Check this tent out! This is by far one of the best pit meat locations in the area. I even put it above the notorious Chaps. The meat is cooked to perfection and served just how you ask for it. The serving size of meat is on point for what you expect for a sandwich.I got the pit beef on a Kaiser roll medium rare and my wife got the pit Turkey. My wife isn't a huge meat person, but she didn't stop raving about it for 15 minutes while she ate. She also said the coleslaw was terrific and enjoyed the "Meatman sauce".Definitely will be coming back, and likely be regulars.

Great stop for a Pit Beef Sandwich! Stand is located adjacent to liquor store. There is a separate fixings table with everything you need to make a great sandwich. They also sell pie slices from Dangerously Delicious Pies. Cash Only but if you're nice they will let you pay inside with your credit card.
