Sorry this will be a tad long.I literally love this place so much! I just moved to the area a few months ago and have been looking for a good carryout spot. This place has been so delicious. I first got it when I was sick, I had the chicken & rice soup as well as the egg drop soup & my boyfriend got the wings & fries. The both were so delicious and decided the next day to order again and this time I tried their wings b/c I had a bite of my bfs & wanted my own. The next day! Yes 3 in a row we ordered again and I tried the chicken lo mein, it was so perfect without being overly greasy and the flavor was amazing.We ordered again the following week twice and I ended up trying the chicken teriyaki stick and my boyfriend ended up eating 2 of my four cause of how good they were. The next week we ordered and one day we went there. Now about 2 weeks later I've tried their chicken pad Thai and it might be my favorite thing there and is my favorite pad thai I've ever had. I saw recently the yelp reviwe was only 2.9 and immediately downloaded yelp to help change that. I highly recommend this place.

Mayflower is an old school Chinese food carry out spot in the Harper's Farm/Wilde Lake area. I hadn't been in a while but was craving Chinese fried chicken so I made my way across town for a four piece friend whole wings and fries. They did not disappoint! The chicken was piping hot and well seasoned. Crispy with a great crunch to it. Get hot sauce if you like spicy or the mustard if you can handle it! Duck sauce if you like it sweet. The fries were crisp and lightly fried. I asked for salt , pepper and ketchup on mine . IYKYKThe inside has standing room enough for about 5-7 people. Order ahead if you can to reduce wait time and crowded-ness. They are in a business park by the hospital so quiet neighborhood. We parked and ate by a shady tree. If you're craving chicken or just old school Chinese takeout then mayflower is the spot! Thank me later!

I have been on the hunt for good Chinese food in Columbia area for some time. A few neighbors suggested I try this place. I ordered Chicken Teriyaki, vegetable fried rice, and vegetable spring rolls (not pictured). All items including delivery, convenience fee, and tip was ~$32.The chicken teriyaki was good, heavy on chicken and light on vegetables and sauce. The fried rice was quite bland which was a bit disappointing and the only vegetables I noticed was spring beans.

Mayflower has great food but the service needed a little sprucing up! I called my order in and was told to just order in person and got hung up on immediately. Since they were right around the corner I went inside and ordered just because I have been CRAVING some sweet and sour chicken They had no contact delivery and it was beautiful seeing the Covid safety measures practiced. I was more than satisfied with how the sweet and sour TVP chicken tasted. The texture of the TVP, the consistency of the sweet and sour, and the fluffiness of the rice all made the entire dish great. The options are vegetarian/vegan but you can just communicate what you want and they will accommodate.

Both were usually good" But my last order consisted of 2 items - I hate to say nasty but "YUCK" I don't know if they hired a new cook but my order was horrible' Order: Happy Family w/ fried rice - suppose to included - Lobster Meat, Chicken, Jumbo Shrimp. Roast Pork, Beef. Mixed Veg. - No Lobster Meat" About 4-6 pieces Chicken Thighs- 1 Big Shrimp - didn't notice any Pork - Real Chewey Beef" 1 piece broccoli, lot of carrots water chestnuts" - ordered this before from here before Good - ****2nd order Shrimp Egg Fo Young w/ Steamed Rice & Gravy - 2 shrimp egg patties looked good' slightly burned but ok - Taste was salty - very few shrimp - no green onions - I think I could have dealt w/ all above - We get gravy on side so we can manage our own use" This rue /start of gravy was burned real dark brown almost chocolate in color" we are used to a tan/ brown gravy from here'This gravy you could taste the bitterness in this dark gravy.Like I mentioned I don't Know If They Got A New Cook / New Management"I do Know Something is Wrong" They Say Everybody Has A Bad Day?Or Is It The Beginning Of The End? - Lets Wait And See / Hope For Better

I took one sip of their green curry sauce and nearly went into a cardiac arrest. It was extremely salty, something must have went wrong while they were making my food because there is no way someone would think that amount of salt in a dish was appropriate. I didn't want to waste an entire dish so I took out my pot and tried to fix it by adding coconut milk. It was a little bit better but still really salty so it went in the trash. The whole reason of me ordering takeout was so that I didn't have to cook and clean dishes, but I ended up having to do that anyways.

I just moved to the village a few months ago and decided to try them since they are practically across the street from me. Was excited to see a Thai section on the menu. Ordered my 2 favorite Thai dishes and some egg foo young for my mom. I gave 2 stars because I think she liked it. My Thai dishes were complete trash. I got the pineapple fried rice with chicken and all they did was serve cooked white rice with chunked pineapple and chicken with a little browning sauce and the pad see ew is known for its big rice noodles veggies and yummy sauce. I got none of that. I got thin dry noodles with broccoli and dry chewy beef, the noodles they used are used in Mei fun. Am so disappointed. Will continue to go to Hunan family for my to go Chinese food, at least their ho fun is more like pad see ew, or I will go to Ellicott City for Thai food.

Honestly, idk what's up with these reviews. I ordered this as take out and had the orange chicken dinner combo . I did not want to cook tonight . The sweet and sour soup was good and not riddled with msg. The orange chicken was crispy and very good. Fried rice wasn't to salty and honestly, if you wanted it saltier out some soy sauce on it. It was a good meal and I didn't read the reviews before ordering but good thing I didn't. People must not be baseline happy in their lives to judge this place. Stop judging , you ain't judy hahaha . Yeah, just order from this place, it's Gucci.
