Mary's has solid African food. The highlights really are the jollof rice and the salmon!I heard the Egusi and fufu are really good too.Their chicken was a bit dry and other fish options were just okay. They are on the expensive side in my opinion- as you are paying $14/$15 for a container of mostly rice. The service is really good. They work to get you exactly what you need.On the other hand, the facility could really use some TLC. I don't believe they have a functioning kitchen-- they bring the food in precooked to be served. There may be some questionable methods. With that, it's solid carry out African food when you're in need.

The place is kind of falling apart, not the best looking restaurant in town. I ordered on yelp and got there about 15 minutes after I got the message that food is ready for pickup. When I got there, my order was not ready and I had to wait for 15 more minutes to get it. While I was waiting, I checked out their menu and noticed that the prices on yelp were higher. I ordered pepper goat soup which was $20 on yelp while it was $12 on their menu, jollof rice with chicken was $15 while it was $9 on the menu. I will be ordering on the phone from next time. Coming to the food, it was worth all the wait. Pepper Goat soup did justice to the name. It was peppery spicy and delicious! Jollof rice became my favorite instantly. It was well made with all the perfectly blended spices. I could not stop eating it. I want to eat this everyday. They just found a loyal customer. Cannot wait to try the other dishes on their menu.

I've been meaning to check this place out for some time now, because it's right across the street from my gym. It was a line when I went in, but it moved pretty fast. I finally got a chance to try spicy egusi soup w/chicken and fufu. It was very good and filling. Also the lady behind the counter was very helpful. I'll definitely be back to try something else on the menu.

I had a taste for African food so I went on to Google and I found this place. The people were very courteous but something about the storage of the food bothered me. I wanted some rice and it was stored in a cooler. Anyway I bought some beef and goat. I literally could not eat it because it was so tough. I have never had any kind of meat that is so tough in my entire life. I had to throw it away. Is the meat supposed to be this tough in African food? I am not sure I will be back.
