This was our first time dining at this Black-owned establishment and we will definitely be returning for brunch and also try dinner. Planning the next monthly outing to dine with Marley's Bar and Grill. The food was beyond delicious. The initial starter of the steak & cheese egg roll got the dining experience started on the right foot. From the Lamb Rack, which all the lamb was eaten off the bone; to the Steak & Cheese sandwich which was full of ribeye meat, cheese and onions, to the crispy Chicken & decedant Waffles were all amazing. The seasonings on the Lamb Chops and Chicken were just right. Our server was professionally charismatic and had a warm personality. She could have checked on us more but she was busy with more than several tables. The atmosphere was quiet, music was playing low while the TVs were on college basketball games. It was comfortable temperature in the restaurant given recent cold spells. The menu had a nice collection of offerings and simplified menu.

Made a reservation online for Saturday brunch at 1. Plenty of Garage parking (2 hours validated), street parking (4 hours) - you're good. Also, about a 5 minute walk from Hyattsville Crossing (PG Plaza Metro)Appetizers: Got the cheesesteak egg rolls. Pretty good! Enough for 2 people and came with coleslaw in the middleI got the Catfish & Grits. It was very salty. I honestly, could only get thru less than a 1/3 of it. This is a hearty portion thoMy friend ordered medium rare lamb chops. Once at the table, she said it was cooked more than medium well. I'm a medium well person, and it def. was medium well. She said it was just okay, but didn't bother to have it sent backWe opted for the Unlimited Mimosas ($32 a person). There's about 10 flavors. Most of what I tried was really sugary, with syrup at the bottom. There's not one that i particularly liked. Also, we didn't see our waitress often. So we didn't get a fill of mimosa until like once an hour. Then my friend told her to "keep em coming" lol. Then she started showing up moreTV's for game watching. As we were leaving the music was turned off, and the NFL games & sound were on. During brunch, it was light RnB music from today.Ended up splitting the bill in half, came up to like $75 per personI don't see myself returning .

I visited Marley's Bar and Grill on yesterday and I will rate it by category. Customer service: 10/10. Staff were pleasant and the young lady at the hostess stand even provided her recommendations on the way to our table. Cleanliness 5/10: The restaurant area was nice and I saw the hostess Lysol each table after use. However, the women's bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. No soap or toilet paper, wet floor, and tissue everywhere. That was unacceptable. Food 5/10: I got the crab and lobster dip for an appetizer. It was super oily. The chef should visit All American Steakhouse or Pappa's for a few ideas of inspiration on great crab dip. For my entree, I got the salmon and replaced the lobster mash with regular mash. The mashed potatoes were super dry and lacked flavor! So dry, I immediately said it needs some butter and milk. The salmon and broccoli were tasty. Drinks 5/10: they were strong but my entire party complained how sweet they were, less syrups please! The last turnoff for me was, I replaced my mashed potatoes with mac n cheese. The waitress took them from my plate and bought me Mac n cheese. Fine, nothing wrong with that so I thought, until the bill came and I was charged for it. At that point, I should've been able to keep the mash since I'd be charged for a replacement, I could've took it home and doctored it up. She told me, I was charged because she had to throw it away. That's not my fault. The Mac served to me was salty, I assumed it was rushed since I did send the mash back as the cheese was over it like a soup consistency, it hadn't had time to sit and gel. This was not very customer centric of the establishment.

Marley's gets two thumbs up! Another great edition to University Town Center in Hyattsville, Marley's is my kind of restaurant. It's a slick mix between casual and upscale, so you get an above average dining experience at a very reasonable price. I believe the owners did an excellent job recognizing their potential clientele and executing their vision to perfection. Unlike the normal casual dining experience, you can get food items such as crab lobster egg rolls, bacon topped deviled eggs, lamb chops and a ribeye. The day we visited, we weren't super hungry so we did the salmon, jerk wings, deviled eggs and the crab lobster egg rolls. We enjoyed everything but I can't wait to dig into that ribeye next time!!Marley's has a modern/contemporary design, with a nice size bar if you want to just grab a bite and a drink while checking out a game. Working in Hyattsville, this may be my new favorite restaurant. One thing, they're closed Monday and Tuesday so I'll have to eat at Burton's if I get hungry those two days..LOL!!

Marley's Bar & Grill is the new Black-owned hotspot in Hyattsville that combines upscale dining, vibrant nightlife, and standout brunch experiences. Conveniently, they also provide parking validation for the first two hours in either nearby garage. I stopped by for brunch today and had the pleasure of meeting the owner, which added a personal touch to an already decent experience. Jasmine was our server. Drinks:We started with a Peach Mimosa, but what truly impressed me was their extensive mimosa menu. They offer unique flavors such as: * Classic * Cranberry * Pineapple * Passion Fruit * Peach * Strawberry * Watermelon * Lavender * Green AppleI also enjoyed the Strawberry Hennessy Sidecar--a must-try!Starters: * Steak Egg Rolls: Crispy, generously packed with steak, cheese, and eggs--rich and indulgent. * Fried Wings: Tossed in Honey Old Bay, these wings were flavorful and cooked to perfection. I requested all flats, and Marley's delivered--a huge win for wing enthusiasts who appreciate attention to detail.Brunch Entrées: * Fried Catfish over Grits: Crispy, well-seasoned catfish atop creamy cheese grits. Do note: the grits are premade with cheese, so plain grits are unavailable for those with dietary restrictions. * Ribeye & Eggs: Cooked to perfection and paired beautifully with sides, this dish was a hearty and satisfying choice.Marley's Bar & Grill offers upscale dining, creative cocktails, and a stylish ambiance perfect for brunch, dinner, or special celebrations. They also feature a private room for events, making it an ideal venue for gatherings. If you're in search of a memorable dining experience with excellent food, drinks, and service, Marley's Bar & Grill is a must-visit. I highly recommend it! We took off 1 star as service in the beginning was slow. Also, we had to ask for a bag for our leftovers.

I enjoyed this trendy spot. I hand the steak and eggs. The dish included potatoes. There was no bread included. It could have used some bread and extra chips from the crab dip. The dip was very good. I also had a jefe spicy margarita. The service was a little slow but fair enough. They tried to put a delivery fee on my check. They removed it when I pointed it out. They automatically charged 20% for the waitress. The food was very good overall. My fried had the catfish and grits.! I plan to go back to try some of the other tasty dishes.

Popped in here for a drink or two because I wanted to check out the new bar and restaurant in the area. Upon walking in it has a very open, fresh and nice vibe. There a large TVs mounted on the walls, and cool bar lighting. They have regular happy hour as well as late night happy hour which is a bonus! I only came for drinks and I tried the Marley's Rum Punch as well as the Margarita. I preferred the margarita over the rum punch. The service was good and felt personable. I'll definitely be back to try some of the food. My suggestion is to come on the earlier side for happy hour as it starts filling in quickly. Cheers!

My "Special Friend" is the Bestest Foodie partner a girl could dream of. He loves all the foods that I do so eating out is always a treat! He always picks because a girl loves a man who can lead and he does that well. For dinner on our weekend rendezvous he chose Marley's Bar and Grill. It's new so anything new, we are there. It's a bar so ambiance is giving casual. Date night vibes, definitely. Not fine dining by any means but cute and trendy. Service was good. Waitress was new and the place is new so it's understandable to have a few issues,we scored a free drink because of it. Let's get into it!Crab Egg rolls - Yes Please! Perfection! Salmon - Perfection!Wings - Great! Drinks - Great! Overall Yes, Yes, Yes! Great to have another placeto venture to in the college park area.

It was my first visit to this bar, they had karaoke while we sat at the bar and sampled a few items from the menu. The jerk wings were tasty, and the sliders were good, but I was let down by the lobster and crab egg rolls, which I had been craving. The atmosphere and crowd were enjoyable--it's a small place that plays Go-Go, hip-hop, and R&B, if that's your scene.

I finally had the chance to try Marley's, and I absolutely loved the vibe, food, and drinks! Our bartender, Leah, was amazing--her personality and energy were everything. She was incredibly attentive, and the drinks were top-notch. The Raspberry Lemon Drop was my favorite! My food came out quickly and was delicious--no complaints at all. I'll definitely be back! If you visit, be sure to ask for Leah at the bar--her drinks are fantastic!
