I read on Reddit that Marios pizzas were some of the closest to the ones in NY. I ordered by phone because Slice increases the prices to take their cut. Our order was a medium extra cheese pepperoni pizza and an order of fries. The guy on the phone said it would be about 10 minutes.When I arrived, it was almost ready but we had no way to tell which order was mine. He hadn't taken my name. He asked for an order number but I did not have once since I did not order online. This wasn't a big deal but something to note.The guy found my order quickly but it turns out whomever took my order did not add pepperoni to the pizza. They had to take it out of the oven to add pepperoni to it but it was almost done. I was worried the pepperoni would not be cooked or was simply sitting on top of the cheese. Both items came to a little under $20.The fries were awesome- crispy, hot, and could work with a number of condiments. They were the type that are lightly coated with something so a vegetarian/vegan might want to inquire.They did not skimp on the pepperoni or cheese nor did the pepperoni stand out like it had not been in the oven the whole time. The cheese went almost to the edge of the pizza which I love. Nice crispy crust. Great cheese pull. Delicious.Their pizzas are not the kind that burst with spicy or zesty flavor. Nor do they have fresh Italian undertones. This is not fancy adult pizza but the type kids and adults can share. Mario's is a great simple pizza that is ready fast.Good fries and good pizza in the same establishment is hard to find. This will be my new go-to when I order carryout.

Visited Mario's Original Pizza & Pasta tonight and had a great visit!As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by the staff who were super friendly. The restaurant was very clean and had some indoor seating. We ordered a 16" large pepperoni pizza and a pepperoni Sicilian pizza. The pizzas were done fast and were hot. Both were delicious, but the Sicilian was definitely our group's favorite! We then got cannoli and brownies for dessert which were also tasty.If you are in the Towson area, you definitely need to try Mario's!

Ordered for delivery at the hotel that we were staying at while visiting Johns Hopkins University. Food arrived in the promised timeframe, about one hour later. Food had pretty much cooled off by that point, though it wasn't totally cold. Pizza was okay- had ordered both a white pizza and a red pizza. Both were decent. My main complaint- I asked for plates/utensils since we were in a hotel without access to either. Did not get them though. Hard to eat pizza without a plate or napkins.

Mario's has quickly become my favorite pizza spot in Baltimore! I refuse to order form anywhere else since discovering it. To me, the true test of a good pizza is a restaurant's cheese and/or margherita pizza. Both from Mario's are simply phenomenal!I can eat a whole 12" of the margherita on my own --it is just THAT good. Crust is crispy and holds up to the generous amount of delicious sauce (they don't skimp on the sauce, LOVE them for this!), unlike those other pizza slices that immediately flop down when you pick them up and all the toppings fall off... that's the worst. They give just the right amount of mozzarella and basil too. Holy moly I'm drooling just thinking about it. Also, if you're a normal person and don't eat entire pizzas in one sitting like me, this pizza reheats super well! Crispy but still saucy and just plain perfection. I'm so so glad to have Mario's in the area. Pickup and delivery are always a breeze. Love that they sell single slices too. I'll soon be trying the subs if only I can break away from the pizzas for once. The meatballs are also delicious! Omg okay I'll stop now. The pizza is good. The manager is bad. I called in to get a slice when they opened at 11am. The guy told me 15 minutes. I showed up a few minutes later and waited in the car for another 10 minutes. Went inside, they never started the pizza slices. I asked why and the guy just kind of brushed me off, even though he saw me sitting in my car the whole time. He came out a time or two while I waited (the chef was inside the whole time.) He said "we don't have slices until 11:30am." That would have been fine if he told me that on the phone, not so fine since you told me at 11 it would be 15 minutes. Normally a little longer wait wouldn't be an issue, but i was making a quick trip for my lunch break. I told him i had tried to come grab a slice the night before and they were closed early. He asked when and I said I was there at 10. "We close at ten!" I explained that Google said they were open until 11 and he might want to edit the hours on there. He continued shouting at me, "We close at 10. It says that everywhere! don't know what Google you're looking at! We close at 10!" I pulled it up to show him, he pulled it up too. He then said "that needs to be changed!" No apology, nothing. They get all their ingredients and their desserts from Costco, I watched him bring them inside. The slice was fresh since I had to wait another additional 20 minutes. Due to the jerk that runs the place, I won't be back.

Had my first Mario's pie in a while-it was way better than I remember! When I arrived there was a short line. The entrance was WAY cleaner than I remembered, especially for a Sunday night. Walls sparkled and just looked inviting.Fresh dough, sauce and fresh mushrooms were excellent! Way more flavor than I remember from last spring. And the cheese seemed better too! I've had good sandwiches (cheesesteak in particular) from here, but now I'll start using it for my pizzas too! Really great!

I live 2 blocks south of Mario's. I've eaten nearly every pizza in a 1-mile radius (that's a lot of pizza) there is nothing that really compares. The dough the sauce and the cheese it all comes together to create that great pie!It's always clean, bright and the staff is always friendly and helpful. But it's all about the pizza and this is THE PLACE and THE PIE!
