Maple Lawn Wine and Spirits

Not my go to location but a good close-by option! Yesterday was my first time and definitely won't be my last!The prices are fair and comparable to other liquor stores. In fact, I was surprised that some items weren't more considering this is Howard County!The store is well stocked and they're open daily. 10 - 10 *except Sunday (10 - 8)!! Super convenient. My interaction with the clerk was good. Usually I get asked if I found what I needed, etc...she didn't but she was still friendly!

Very rude. I went to dinner at Hudson coastal and ran in the wine store to pick up a bottle. I went to the counter I said hi I'll take this and laid it on the counter. The man talk to someone else in his language rang it up, said the amount so I paid, and then he slid the bottle towards me and I didn't say one word to me. I told him he was very rude and I said I'll never come here again. I don't live around there, but love Hudson coastal, and go there often.

Beer Review only. Decent selection overall. Good Belgium selection. Only complaint is that their single can/bottle inventory is on the small side. Lots of empty/wasted space in their fridge regarding that. Hard to want to drink 4-6 of any one particular beer. Oh well. I wish their singles space was larger, but I guess that's what we all have Perfect Pour for. They also had a few varieties that may have been special batches for them, but not enough description to make me want to buy.

High prices, poor selection, snobby staff. Life is too short for repeated rudeness, as a minority woman customer. After multiple instances of blatant poor service over the last year (because this is where I usually doing weekly HT groceries and it was convenient) I will not be shopping here every again. I will be driving a wee bit north for a Better option -Montpelier Liquors at John Hopkins Roads!

Beautiful set up. Large quantities and huge variety to choose from. This store has everything you can think of, especially bourbon.

OK selection for a small store, but prices are very high. Go to DC, VA, or MOCO for better selection and better price.

Since moving to Columbia, I've struggled to find a good wine store. Most of the ones I've been to only have cheap wines and a limited selection to boot. I came here on the recommendation of a bartender at Hudson Coastal. The wine selection here is amazing and the aisles are split by wine varieties so it makes shopping easy. I found the prices to be good and they had a sale on several wines when I went last week. They also stock hard liquor and beer but the big star here is the wine. This is my go to spot for wine in the area. I'm dying to check out their beer offerings next time I go.

One of the finest beer stores in the DMV! Maple Lawn features an impressive range of high-end craft beers from all over the country, including tons of trophy bottles (e.g. Cascade, rarer Bourbon County releases). Moreover, the staff is friendly and very knowledgeable!

Maple Lawn is just one of those places that makes me uneasy. A pre-fab community of townhomes, condos and office buildings with high-end restaurants and boutiques everywhere, with nothing but asphalt and concrete taking the place of the sprawling farmland that used to be there. It just makes me feel like it's one of those places you go to only if you can... afford it.But you can't blame a business for moving in just because a developer decided to raze the environment, and maybe I'm painting the whole place with the wrong brush anyway. I happened to be in the area, so when I walked into Maple Lawn Wine and Spirits I was expecting an experience akin to "Les Snooty's Chateau du Vin" but I was pleasantly surprised every step of the way.They have so much product at first I thought I was stepping into a wine warehouse. But they don't have just wine. "And Spirits" are truly represented and they don't skimp on any of them. They have a great craft beer selection, Their large liquor selection seems to include every variety from every brand. And of course, many aisles of wine. So much so that some of the aisles can seem a bit claustrophobic. (There are worse things than being surrounded by lots of wine.)Their prices, if you'll excuse me, are also a selling point. They are absolutely comparable to every other liquor store in the area. With their attentive staff, they are certainly a great addition to the area. Even if it is... that area.

Great guys and the store picks align with my palate. I couldn't make it back today for the Knob Creek store pick, but I will soon!
