Mandarin Express Halal Chinese Restaurant

Delicious. Very friendly and clean atmosphere. Food reasonably prices and good portion. Will travel 30 min to return over and over. Will be back again. Accommodated a large group of 20 no problem. Made reservations and was ready for us.

This is my new go to Chinese restaurant. It halal so there's no pork on the menu at all. And some of the dishes are not traditional American Chinese food, but every single item i have ordered from here is FANTASTIC! The fried rice (any style) is amazing and the portions are generous. The family the runs the place is very kind and welcoming. It's always clean and they have plenty of seating for families or groups that want to dine in, which is nice for a Chinese restaurant. This will always be my first choice for Chinese food in Laurel!

The food was excellent! First time there and will definitely be back! I appreciated the customer service in explaining the menu items and tailoring my order to meet my requests.

Friendly service and great food! Great for takeout or to dine in. Food was served hot off the grill/wok and was very tasty. Several meal choices for lunch and dinner.

Tried for the first time and was sorely disappointed. Crab Rangoon's were flat, barely any filling and tasted stale and flavorless. Same for fried wontons which I'm assuming were chicken??? The meat was equally flavorless, unidentifiable and dry as the dessert. The orange chicken and General Tso's chicken were equally bland and hard to distinguish which each dish was, they tasted so similar. Even the fries were bland, overcooked and dry. This hardly passed as food let alone Asian food.

I went here yesterday after seeing videos of the place online. The owner was so warm and welcoming! The food was amazing! 10/10. And the ambiance was great. I would definitely be coming back. On top of that, it's halal! And I am very happy to have found a halal Chinese nearby

5/5 Amazing food!! I just went here and had to write a review. The food was amazing, it was a Chinese food with a hint of Pakistani culture. Made me feel like I was back in Pakistan. Not to mention they had outstanding service. The owner and all their employees were super nice, kind, and professional. This was one of the best halal Chinese restaurants I have been to in MD. Their chai was also really good. I would give this a 10/5 if I could.

We ordered and picked up. The staff was friendly on the phone and the order was ready upon arrival. We ordered Mongolian Beef, Orange Chicken, Combination Fried Rice and chicken wings! The wings were good! Everything else had no taste. The Mongolian beef had 5 small pieces of meat. The orange chicken was dry and fatty. The combination fried rice had tons of pepper on it. We were hoping this was going to be good food! There are no good Chinese food places in Laurel. We miss Shish Kebob!
