Man Hing

Been coming here for years, service is very fast and efficient, the food is great, they do not skimp on quantity or quality. I usually get the House Special Soup and it is loaded, just loaded with meat and veggies, delicious broth-comes with Chinese noodles. My husband gets the Shrimp fried rice, always steaming hot with plenty of flavor and lots of shrimp. Best yet are the shrimp egg rolls, 3 shrimp in them, always.Their prices are very reasonable and if you order enough you get a kick back bonus of a menu item coupon, like an egg roll or free soft drink.We are regular customers, highly recommend this place for Chinese food.

I've been driving past this place for years and, after reading most of the positive reviews on here, I decided to stop in recently. When I walked through the door, there was a loud bell that rang to announce someone had come into the restaurant. I saw a young woman sitting at a table by the cash register on a device and she never once looked up or acknowledged me. I was about to ask about an online order I had placed, about 25 minutes prior, before another young woman walked out from the kitchen area. There was no '"hello" or "how can I help you", just a blank stare. So, I asked about my online order and she gave me a confused look and then walked over to the young woman on the device and took it from her. I presume she was checking to see that an online order had been placed and when she found it, she walked back over to me for payment. After I paid she made a snide, unnecessary comment about how I chose to pay, so I made the decision to not leave a tip for such poor service. They hadn't even started the order yet!!!I do not understand how this place has ANY positive reviews, if this is how Man Hing decides to run their business. I placed an order online and showed up for it about 25 minutes later just to be ignored and then made to wait some more. The food was on par with many of the other local Chinese restaurants- not great and not terrible, just ok. I will never go back here and will tell everyone I know to avoid it. There are many other restaurants in the area that offer good food and good service.

These people are scammers and crooks They brought food to my house that i didn't order and told my son repeated that they had a order for us that one one in our house ordered. Showing him my phone number and my credit card number that they had saved from me ordering food from them over a month ago they kept my card information for over a month!!I know sales must be down because of covid but this is unethical business practices and I will be filing complaints with the better business bureau !!

Great food, good prices, delivery in essex and middleriver. The place is clean and the people who run Man Hing and polite and courteous. Me and my family have been ordering out for them for years.

Lived in Essex my whole life and haven't tried it. It is very good would definitely eat here again! The wonton soup is good along with the rice and shrimp lo mein! The Shrimp Roll is amazing!

Food was pretty good ... even though I ordered beef n broccoli add shrimp but just got shrimp and broccoli instead .. the food was still good ! I would eat from here again but will check my food before I leave !

I had an issue with my order and called to correct the matter and was rudely told no and left on the line.

Carryout only diring Covid. Two teenagers working up front, one friendly, one completely head in laptop and off putting when I asked a question as if I was bothering her. The place seemed very dirty or it's just in great need of updates. Front door looks to be shattered but holding together somehow. They did not ofter helpful info like explaining the combo meals. When i explained that I wish they told me, they putting to the very stick menu taled to the counter which my bring very short, I did not easily see. They hold NO candle yo the Homs who used to run this place and I miss very much. The service was SLOWWW. I DO have to give them credit, as the food was good. Prices are comparable to places in surrounding area. I was there on a Sunday.
