Visited this restaurant today. Very cute comfortable rustic/vintage atmosphere. Lots of inspirational quotes decorating the walls. The staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered the apple French toast bake and sausage. It was tasty. Definitely tasted homemade. I had sweet tea. It had a different taste but was still good. It may have been sweetened with honey. I ordered a slice of yellow cake with white icing which I took home. I really enjoyed it. It tasted very fresh. The restaurant is larger inside that it appears from outside. There's a cute shop inside where you can purchase items. They have food in to go containers for purchase for if you want to bring prepackaged food home. Hours are limited so check the schedule in advance. Overall, this was a nice visit and nice vibes. I would return.

The owner is a God send! I was in the hospital over the whole holiday season (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and even my son's birthday). This business owner provided my husband and son with meals for a few days twice and even bought my son birthday gifts. Seeing his smile... through my cell... warmed my heart. Knowing there are good people out there like Mamma Mish makes the world brighter. My guys loved the food. My husband tasted the chicken pot pie my son had and he even liked it, saying he'd order it(he hates pot pie typically)!! The chicken tasted great according to them and the soups were attacked. Thumbs up from this family. I cannot wait to visit here.

We've stopped by this awesome shop several times on our way to Eden Mill in Pylesville to grab a donut or sweet for the ride. The Madelines & donuts are to die for and took me back to my childhood. The donuts are baked then dipped in butter & cinnamon sugar - my mom used to make me cinnamon toast as a child and these donuts taste exactly like it. Attached to the cafe is a little shop with lots of awesome gift items and a cold case for grab and go items like salads and desserts. We'll eventually get around to trying some of their lunch and dinner specials, especially their White Chicken Chili & their sandwiches all sound so yummy.

Mamma Mish catered my daughter's wedding on JULY 10, 2021 and the food was mediocre at best. We had a tasting and dealt with one of the owners associates, the food was good and she seemed enthusiastic about helping to make her day special, not the case! Food that should have been served hot was cold, salads were served in two tablespoon size plastic containers and they were horrible. When I first approached them as they were setting up in discussing the day, they asked who was providing the cupcakes, which she had instead of a cake and I advised that they were! They were brought later, not the flavors that were chosen and I know they been frozen! 5700$ later for 118 people, please beware! The one time the owner interjected was to let us know they would be charging 3$ more per person, which was a month before the wedding, and she was abrupt and uncaring!

Wow, is all I can say! Being from California, living in Arizona and planning a wedding in Maryland was no easy task this past summer, but Michelle from Mamma Mish's helped to create an amazingly unforgettable wedding with suburb food that everyone is still talking about months later! While Michelle does not normally plan weddings, she is known to do catering. However, she truly stepped up to the plate. Everything was beautiful with the exact personal touches every bride needs. Our menu was created with local ingredients with a mac and cheese bar, crab for days, and a pit beef carving station. We had cute little tiramisu and strawberry shortcake cups that were to die for! I really cannot say enough about the gratitude we have for Michelle and all her hard work! If you have a chance to stop in a Mamma Mish's I guarantee you will walk out with a full belly and a smile on your face!

Wow, what a great place to get a a great home cooked meal and friendly atmosphere! My wife and I came here for lunch and we certainly were not disappointed. "Mamma Mish" and her staff were very friendly, and made us an exceptional homemade meatloaf sandwich. She also had a shop that supports local vendors that you can browse and purchase different homemade items, such as homemade signs, jewelry, and many other things. If you're looking for a cozy, well decorated, friendly atmosphere, that provides great food and a place to shop, look no further than Mamma Mish!

We were disappointed when I visited the tea house with my Tea Club. People traveled up to 100 miles to attend. The facility is adorable, but the scone/biscuits were hard enough to break a window; other pastries were stale, and sandwich fillings were so skimpy you could barely taste anything. Also, the tea was lukewarm, and we were ok to overlook it as they quickly heated water the traditional way vs. a giant electric vat where they continued to pour cold water into the hot. I want to see them succeed; as there are so few tea rooms these days, I hope this feedback can help.Bottom line - if you cannot serve hot tea and hot scones with appropriate lemon curd, clotted cream, and jams - you are not a tea room!

We had been looking forward to trying this tea room for months. There were three of us ladies. It was cozy and bigger than other tea rooms we've been to, but there was no paper menu. They had a fixed menu written on the board for $26.95pp! We decided to stay because we figured it must be really good for that price. It was not. We each had a small bowl of decent chicken soup (on Good Friday though, my MIL picked her chicken out ) and on a two tier tray for us to share, there was a 2" square quiche, which was awful, 3 finger sandwich varieties and a few sweets. They were ok. I for one don't order sweets at tea rooms, I like the savory choices. We thought we were on candid camera or something because of the price! In addition, they had only 7-8 teas to choose from, where other tea rooms have an entire page or more. We will not be returning.

We did the tea room and the food just wasn't good. I hope they improve the quality because the place is adorable and the people are wonderful! I really want them to succeed.

Did the tea house for a friends birthday and we were super disappointed. It's really cute but some of the food was cold, the scone, my soup was luke warm at best, so was the tea. I'd really like to see them succeed so I hope this feedback can help.
