Visiting from SC. Went on a rainy Sunday night after a long drive, it was a perfect Irish Pub experience, the Guinness was creamy and the Irish Stew was fantastic. The owner Jen came by and chatted us up. Very friendly, cozy and inviting. Considering the Ireland trip the pub sponsors. Highly recommended! Wish we had this in Aiken!

Once was enough... never going back. We visited this place with our adult children, so we had a myriad of palates in the mix.The restaurant is very cramped and the furniture looked to be pre-WWII. It is littered with all kinds of bar-related regalia, some of it Irish Pub-ish, some of it not.Everyone got something different so we had a variety of items from the menu. The food was edible, for the most part, but none of us felt compelled to go back again. The highlight of our visit there was our waitress.While the food she served us ranged from mediocre to "...not getting that again...", she was sweet and very attentive to our group. We made sure she got a good tip because of her great service... it wasn't her fault that the menu needed a new one.Lastly, given it was right around St Patrick's Day, we thought we'd take a crack at sitting at the "Irish Bar" for a pint before heading out. The bartender (who we believe was the owner) was impatient and rude, angrily saying at one point (paraphrasing), "I'm busy, what do you want?". If you're looking for a true Irish Pub experience, this place isn't it.Sláinte!

I was reluctant to go into this restaurant as the reviews were not good about the service here. Yes, I can see where they might think the waiter and owner were rude, they're just a little standoffish. The crab soup was excellent, the beer was excellent, the sandwich with apples, Brie, and turkey was good. Lots of fun games to play while there and fun things to look at. Will definitely go back.

Traditional Irish food, games and excellent service. Why did it take me almost 10 years to visit here ! Kiera, Nick and Danyel are amazing literally the gems behind the business. I came here on a Friday and then found myself here the next day. The Irish iced coffee and Shepard pie was delicious! I may find myself back here again because it is great...I lowkey want to go on one of the trips!

Hubby and I visited Magoo's for first time. Irish pub food was on menu. I am always excited for pub food. We arrived greeted warmly by server, ordered a beer and it went downhill from there. Fish and chips are always a fav at most pubs, unfortunately I was served what seemed to warmed up breaded fish I would buy at the grocery store along with oven cooked McCain fries. Was extremely disappointed. I have a beer batter recipe at home and should have made my own with fresh cut fries. And they state the staff takes a yearly trip to Ireland for inspiration? I'd be happy to save you the long trip and join me in my home kitchen and I am just a mediocre home cook. Sorry for harsh review guess I was really craving some awesome fish and chips

Smallest bar / restaurant owner not a people person. Watched them turn a family away cause they had a baby. really.. reservation on 3 tables an other places to sit and you tell people to leave... service sucked.. this is ST.PATRICKS Weekend.
