I spent a few evenings in this place, mostly out of necessity. It's located in the Greenbelt Marriott and as I was without a car, there weren't many other options. Luckily, it more than fit the bill. The atmosphere is definitely more like any other bar you'd go to rather than a hotel bar. A good L-shaped bar with plenty of seats, lots of tables of varying size and height. And plenty of TVs with a variety of games (in this case, college basketball, hockey, NBA).The food menu I believe had just been redone and was imaginative. The Cuban sandwich was a hit (outstanding bread, good size, plenty of meat, I could only eat half), as was the crab cake balls appetizer (worthy of the Maryland crab expectation). Seeing the other food that came out, nobody seemed disappointed. The portions per price wasn't the best, but it certainly was palatable (no pun intended). I might have wanted a few more evenings to sample the fare. The diversity of drinks was a plus, and a minus. They had a number of local bottles and taps, but seemed to be out of a few of them (or they were doing the "dreaded" keg change that rendered them foamy). Seems like a little bit better management here might help (it could very well be I just caught them on a few bad nights).Bartenders were very attentive and the service was quick. Most of the patrons were travelers, many by themselves so there were a lot making conversation for those who were solo.Would I make a special trip to this bar if I were in the area? Probably not. It would be a great place to meet friends after work and it was definitely a plus for someone like me without many travel options.

Went there during their 4-7pm menu out of necessity. Took 30 minutes for an appetizer and a $3.50 iced tea that was about 6 oz. Finished the iced tea in about 5 minutes and was never asked if I wanted a refill. Food took so long to be delivered that I immediately asked for the bill, not knowing how long that would take. Went to walk the payment up to the bar and the waiter met me. I paid cash and it took him 5 minutes to make change after he walked straight to the register and did nothing else. I'd prefer to go hungry next time.

We had the grilled bacon BBQ shrimp which was pretty good. Calamari was average. Service was great! Seven was super friendly, prompt, and always has a smile on her!

Food was ok, but no great. The reason I gave this restaurant 2 stars is because the service is horrible. If you are looking for a smooth dine in experience, I suggest you look elsewhere. Food is about a 3/5. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Give the locals a deal! Friendly staff, it gets busy after work, as it seems short staffed, so a little patience is required. We ordered several food items that could use a little improvement, but it wasn't as disappointing as previous reviews. I added comments to my food photos-- but I would get the sliders again, done medium. And naked wings with all sauces on the side-- excellent!

I was a little disappointed, but understand I am a bit of a food sob, lol. The pasta in the spaghetti and meatballs was way over cooked - kills your chances for repeat customer if you can't get pasta right! The mussels were, ok, they came out room temp...the lemon saved the day in flavor; they were cooked perfectly though -not over done. The chicken wings were great! And the service, one lone server, was awesome. She worked her butt off for everyone ( and it was pretty crowded)! If they increase wait staff and give us some happy hour deals or incentives, we'd go back. Great location!! I'd like to comment on the staff...they were not attentive but honestly it is probably ly because there was only one...and it was pretty full tonight. I actually felt sorry for her.

The reason why this place get any stars is that the staff was friendly courteous and willing to help however the food was awful and seemed like it was done all in a microwave. The prices were outrageously high so it seemed like it was an opportunity to gouge people who are visiting from out of town. That doesn't hold well for the city of Greenbelt if they're trying to attract new business and new oportunities since this is the Premier hotel in Greenbelt.

Bartenders are nice but the food is mediocre at best. I've given this place several chances but I will never eat here again. The food usually takes 30-45 mins to come out.

I went to the M Blue Bar and Lounge buffet today with high hopes. My friend suggested this as the monthly brunch meetup, and boy was I dissapointed. This restaurant is located inside the Marriott Greenbelt. It was the Sunday brunch buffet... more like the everyday hotel breakfast. I got an expensive waffle, omlette and other continental items. Food was okay, wait staff was nice, however if your going for the brunch, go somewhere else!!
