Lynwood Square

Lynwood Square Wine is not a place you are likely to stumble across casually, unless you were taking the back way off Rt 103 to avoid 100. The storefront only has the generic title "Wine & Liquor" but it is the only liquor store in the tiny strip mall with the Giant. The have a great craft beer selection, and also offer a selection of draft taps for growlers. They claim to be the first place in the state that did that, in fact. The prices and selection are pretty good, in many cases better than larger area liquor stores. If you're in the area, this is where you want to stock up.

They have a great selection of beer. Bottle section is so good I have not got to try the beer on tap. Also wine in back and liquor. Reasonable prices and friendly service. Convenient location next to giant.

Bert, his son Michael, Joe and Walt are a great bunch of guys. It is like the Cheers of liquor stores. Even if you don't go often, they treat you right, will learn your name and have pretty good prices to boot.

The service is great- love a home town feel it has. Don't know the guys name but he's always friendly and starts a conversation. The place is always clean, organized and has a good selection.

The customer service in here is great! Friendly and helpful. I have only been in MD a year and back home in Cali we can buy any alcohol in then grocery store. Friendly interactions make me feel comfortable being in a liquor store. I love that I can get California wines here.

It's the local liquor store but we do pass several others to go there. It is conveniently located near Giant food store so that is also a plus for some one stop shopping and saving some gas. Always seem to need a last minute food item when I am having a party. Booze and food in one swoop. We drink a lot of wine and they have a good selection consisting the store's size. We like the MD wine selection and it is competitively priced. If they don't have the wine you are looking for they sometimes can get if for you. They have expanded this section in the past years as there are some nice wineries in MD. Of course they have a cold beer, etc section where you can find something to drink for the evening. The best plus about this store is the friendly clerks. They are always there to help you with questions about wines and are very cordial at checkout. We are big Terps fans and they always have time to chat about the team. It is nice to be recognized when you walk into a local establishment so we will keep on returning and passing by the other stores.

Warning! Do not go here This liquor store allows customers to purchase alcohol without wearing a mask during covid19! Why do you have a sign about how you must wear a mask to enter the store on your door, yet you allow non mask customers inside? I confronted one of the men on duty today and asked him about the man at the counter purchasing without a mask and he said ,"It's ok, he left it on the golf course"! Are you kidding me? I'm disappointed. I left as did another customer who witnessed this. Shame on you for not following Maryland law and utter disregard for the health of not only yourself but your customers. You lost a customer and then some today. You are part of the problem.

Bert and his wife are friends of mine and his son, Michael, is my son's age. Bert is one of the kindest and funniest people I know. Am glad that his business is so well liked and reviews are positive.

Fantastic service at this liquor store. Customer Service off the chart. I also left my wallet behind on Christmas Day and they locked it up to keep it save and it was returned to me today with everything in it. It is so nice to see people so willing to help and give you the best in customer service. I will continue to do my purchases with this business over the ones that are closer to home. Great Job!
