Still delicious. This time we ordered take out. I wasn't quite in the mood for traditional chinese food, so I got a curry chicken dish and I wasn't sure what to expect! Turns out, it was soooo good!! I'm a fan of Caribbean curry, so I couldnt be sure the cross over would be easy, but this completely stood on its own!I will be back again and again to try this dish!

Ordered delivery, gave them a second chance after bad food about a year ago. Fried wantons were hard and dry, couldn't eat them. Mushrooms in beef with fresh mushrooms were great, but what little meat in it was tough, dry , and tasteless. The ample rice noodles for the soup were stale.Terrible value for the money, as only half of the fifty plus dollar order was edible. So we got about $25 worth of food for $50+ dollars.On the plus side customer service and delivery was five stars!I won't order from them from now on and I don't recommend them .

Pretty standard old school Chinese spot. This is my go to and I actually cross town to get shrimp fried rice with fried noodles. They haven't done me wrong yet. Good size shrimp. Slightly greasy rice. Liquor store a few doors down .

There's nothing super bad about little Phoenix. We decided to try it again after about 5 years when our normal Chinese food restaurant (Hunan Joy) was closed for a week. Once again, we were very disappointed. The wontons in the wonton soup are VERY soggy and the broth had no flavor. The spare ribs were a good size and cooked well (juicy inside) but as you can see from the pictures, they had literally no sauce on them. The Chow Mein had a generous portion of chicken but way too little cabbage and the sauce is very bland. The Pork Fried rice was the best thing we had but warning, it's heavy on soy sauce so if you aren't a big fan of soy sauce, you won't be a fan of this.Again nothing here screams terrible, it's just not good and there's better options in the area.

So this might sound crazy but my mom picked this restaurant for her birthday dinner. I was skeptical at first too but my mom is super picky so I knew if she picked it, it might be a hidden gem. We walked in and were greeted and seated immediately. The place was pretty empty so I was nervous lol. The server room our drink orders and came back to take food orders in like 5 minutes. I was happy because honestly, I was starving. My tea hit the table and I lie to you not, 10 minutes later they were bringing out piping hot entrees and appetizers. I was very happy because my mom loves hot food, but it's gets better. All of my food was delicious. Nobody's food was wrong and again it was all piping hot. Our server took pics for us, boxed food for us, lit candles for us and sang happy birthday. My family had an amazing time. I just wished they had cots in the back because we were all ready to hit the hay after all that good food. The portions were huge and we got exactly what we paid for. I think me and my mom juts found our new favorite lunch spot. They were really amazing and made sure my family had a great time. I strongly recommend this place. There is plenty of parking, so drive over and treat yourself. The only con is the chips on the table. Don't eat those!!

This is not your average diner Chinese carry out spot. This is an actual restaurant with a dining room and good service. The menu is pretty standard but the food here is always hot, fresh and flavorful. They bring out water, hot tea and crispy won tons as soon as you sit down. I ordered the king pao chicken combo plate. This comes with your choice of soup, an egg roll, and egg fried rice. The food comes out quick and was steaming hot. I could barely finish the meal because the portion size was so big but the flavor was so good I couldn't stop eating. The dining room is clean and quiet. I will stop in again soon, the lunch specials are great here too.

Been hearing good things about Little Phoenix and figured I'd try some takeout.Overall, it's standard American Chinese takeout. The orange chicken had a lot more breading than chicken in my opinion, though it still tasted good. Sesame noodles, Tso's tofu, tempura, veggies, all are decent, but nothing to write home about. The one major standout was the chicken skewers appetizers. They were well marinated, grilled well, and were plump and juicy. If I ever order here again, I'll be getting these for sure!The amount of food for the prices is considerable. Don't expect to be blown away though.

Food was really low quality! Appetizers were really bad! The B.B.Q Spare Ribs (4) were hard like they had been sitting a long time, and the Fantail Shrimp (4) tasted strangely like chicken so I opened up the fried roll and it had a little shrimp surrounded by dough and some fishy meat (maybe chicken). The sushi: California Roll & Shrimp Tempura Roll didn't taste fresh so we didn't finish them. The Sesame Chicken Combo was okay but the egg roll tasted strange with additional flavors. They gave us wonton soup and a free egg drop soup but we didn't eat them because of the poor experience with the other food. The Beef Fried Rice was the only acceptable dish.

We've been dining in and carrying out from Little Phoenix since it opened. Having tried nearly every other nearby Chinese restaurant, Little Phoenix is still our go-to local place for good Chinese food. Nearly everything is made fresh, and they don't skimp on the ingredients. The quality and portion sizes are generally very consistent, although they've also switched to the smaller entree take-out containers like every other restaurant did during the pandemic.We're greeted by name most of the time, and they're always very friendly. We've started doing more carry out due to time constraints, and they're still just as nice.

I'm in Tennessee and ordering for my aunt who resides in a nursing home in Catonsville. She loves Little Phoenix. We have tried many other places and this Chinese food is best. The owner who takes my order is so kind and the drivers always get the food there hot and great. Being in Tennessee and wanting to delight my aunt who as a New Yorker knows her Asian food, Little Phoenix always comes through. The prices are also fair and perfect. I'm so appreciative. Wish they were in Nashville.
